Worked great I can't find it anymore!

I was so happy to find this and the Lamb and Rice version of dog food at Sams after months of dealing with vet visits and dog diarrhea. This was the only affordable food my dog can eat. The past 2 trips to Sams they have not had it in stock and it is not in stock online now. I bought the Chicken and Rice but my dog has to be special and is allergic to Chicken. It is super hard to find a dogfood without chicken or grain. I am now on the search for something similar online. Sam's are you discontinuing this dog food? Signed, please bring it back because I don't want to deal with dog diarrhea anymore

High quality, better coat and movement for old dog

Our 15 year old border collie/lab mix was suffering with terrible coat issues. He was pulling out tuffs of hair on his backside where he could reach and had sores on his feet and legs. Since he's been on this, his coat has come back in and no more sores. And he likes it!!

highly recommend

I switched my almost 11 year old lab to this food a month ago. She loves it and her itchy skin issues seem to have gone away. Her coat looks great. It?s more expensive than what I was buying but there?s a definite difference in her after a month. Thanks for a great product, Sam?s!

dogs love it!

My dogs are picky and LOVED this. I have dogs that are extra small (chihuahua) to extra large (Great Pyrenees and Bloodhound). Every single one of them loved it. The food is made up of small pieces also so that works good for the little dogs. Very impressed!!

Changed dog food formula

I've been feeding my rescue dog the Members Mark Salmon and Pea dry food after searching for a brand that she would actually eat. I just bought a bag beginning of April and they changed the recipe. Now my dog won't eat it. It used to smell pretty strong like salmon and look more moist and now it's now and it has little red pieces of tiny kibble in with the regular size kibble. I'm disappointed since it took so long to find one.

Good dog food & my 2 boys love it

Love the fact that my dogs like all the Sam's premium dry dog foods but disappointed to the bag doesn't show Glucosimin as an ingredient may have to switch to another brand. Would not recommend since the Sam's web shows Glucosimin as an ingredient but bag doesn't show it to be.

Remove the potentially toxic menadione, please.

I've been feeding my dog the Member's Mark Exceed dry food for the past 4-5 years (initially the Lamb and Rice one, and for the past couple years the Salmon and Pea Grain Free one). I learned that all of the Member's Mark dry dog foods contain a potentially toxic ingredient called "Menadione" (aka "Vitamin K3") which is banned in human supplements in the US. High doses or prolonged exposure to menadione has the potential to cause liver damage. Dogs need extremely little Vitamin K, and almost always get what they need simply from the meat ingredients of the food. AAFCO doesn't require any Vitamin K in dog food so I'm at a loss as to why Sam's Club refuses to remove this controversial ingredient. It would save them money and no one would miss it. My older dog has developed extremely high ALP/ALT numbers for the past few years. This could indicate the early stages of liver disease. Not sure if it's related to the food, but why take the risk? The new Member's Mark grain free canned dog food does not have this ingredient. I recommend that as an alternative if you're willing to pay more for wet food.

Great deal

I compared this dog food to one I was using. Both salmon and vegetables without grain. This one is a much better bargain and my dog loves it. I am a senior and carrying this large bag is very difficult, but I have it delivered free. Thank you Sams Club from me and Toodie.

Itching is so improved!

My 10 year old dog has had skin allergies/severe itching since she was 2. It started every late summer and would usually improve by end of fall. Our vet thinks it's ragweed which is pretty likely. She has gotten worse over the last several years requiring steroid shots, apoquel, cytopoint, Benadryl, and antibiotics because of severe skin infections caused by itching. We've tried many different types of dog food but so far this is the nest and most economical. We are impressed with how much better she is—we hardly have had to give her apoquel.

switched from $52 proplan

I am really happy with this food for both my dogs! (German Shepherd & pocket Bully) They both love it and we made the switch from Pro-Plan to this with no issues. My pocket bully/pit has grain allergies and his coat is perfect on this. I called customer service and this is manufactured by Sam?s club and not Purina for anyone who is wondering.
