My dog loves his food

I have a yellow lab mix with skin issues and a sensitive tummy. When I initially adopted him he was 30-40 pounds underweight. I had him on a high protein diet but he would crop dust the entire apartment if he could. After I got him on a manageable weight, I started feeding him this and all of his issues gone! He no longer has dandruff, still sheds like chewie (like a typical lab), and crop dusting is at a minimum to none. I like that the pellets are small so I can also use that to train him. It has great ingredients for the price. Yes it does have an odor but so does every dog food. Get an airtight container and your problem is solved.

Nice Texture

My dog Vinny has been eating Member's Mark Exceed Grain Free Dry Dog Food for a couple years now. It is the only dog food that I buy. I like that it is made in the USA and is grain free. It has plenty of Omega 3 fatty acids and leaves his coat looking shiny and healthy. It has a nice texture and the pieces are nicely sized. I also like that by feeding my dog Member's Mark Exceed he is not getting any preservatives or artificial coloring.

3 out of 3 Spoos Agree!

This is the good stuff. Our three standard poodles love the stuff for kibble through out the day and as treats when we are training something new. Great food at a very reasonable price and I about cried when I came in last Friday and there was none in the store. Still none in, guess I will drive the two hours round trip to get maybe some lamb and rice? Hope they like that too.

Allergic dogs new favorite!

I have 3 dogs. One is highly allergic to chicken. Finding a dog food without going to a specialty store and paying a big bucks is near impossible. We read the labels and this specific flavor was acceptable for our feeding needs. After slowly integrating this food with the previous food we had purchased, it was clear Members Mark was the favorite. All 3 of our dogs prefer this food to what is sold in specialty stores. No difficult adjustment time or tummy issues. Very happy with this purchase!

Where It's Made

To say this dog food is made in the U.S. is a carefully nuanced and somewhat misleading statement, when an unknown number of the ingredients are imported. The customer has no way of knowing where all these ingredients come from, how they are processed, and whose standards are followed along the way...

This WAS good dog food.

I fed my dogs this food for many years. At the beginning of 2022, my German Shepherd developed diarrhea suddenly. I consulted with my Vet and we started a plan to see what caused this issue. Every time I attempted to reintroduce kibble he became very ill again. Then suddenly a few weeks ago my Lab developed diarrhea. I stopped this dog food and started them on a different dog food brand. The issue stopped immediately. There has to have been a change in the ingredients.

Great, lower cost grain-free dog food!

We own 5 dogs who weigh between 55 lbs and up to 95 lbs so purchasing a grain-free kibble has been costly until we switched to Exceed Grain-Free Salmon and Pea formula. Their coats are shiny, skin isn't itchy, and they all have normal bowels. When we first switched over we didn't do it gradually as we ran out of the other food shortly after purchasing our first bag. They all had some soft stools at first but this passed once their intestinal tract was used to the new food, about two weeks into the Exceed formula. With 5 dogs, we go through a bag every 2 weeks. The only issues we have is our local store runs out of the food before restocking so we must buy 2 bags at a time to ensure we do not run out. I've had it shipped to our house (we have the Plus membership so shipping is free) but it comes with a label on the bag, not in a box. I don't like how its shipped. We live 45 minutes from our closest Sam's Club so when it isn't available at the store we must order online. This is the best grain-free salmon formula that we've been able to find. Affordable, great tasting (just ask the dogs!), and no awful fillers or grains.

dogs refuse to eat it now

Between the massive price hike and the fact that they reformulated, we will no longer be purchasing this. Our dogs LOVED this dog food before. Our pups have been feeding them this consistently for 2+ years. They used to get SO excited to eat it! Now they will only take a few bites at night. Which is really bad considering they only get fed once a day. It no longer smells like fish, my pups hate eating it, it has made them have diarrhea, etc We also strictly carried a Sams membership because of how great this dog food was. We will for sure not be renewing in November.

Good value, medium to high quality dog food

I have generally stayed away from added grains to my dog food. This provides fiber and bulk through peas, which I believe are a better source of fiber. It took a couple of weeks for my German Short Haired Pointer to adapt but he is processing it well. I got him as a 11 month old, he had previously been fed Kibble, a cheap dog food. His coat is healthier looking though he still appears to be adapting to it and will not finish the bowl of 3.5 cups in one sitting. This is an excellent value for the price point, most very good dog foods have 50%+ protein, at 43% and this price it is not shabby.

Dogs like it

Bought it to try with my dogs who had been eating more expensive salom based grain free dog food . Mixing 50/50 to allow them to adjust to new food provide water free choice . They like it, no problems so far. I like cost difference and resealable bag. Small kibble size.
