My Rotti was scratching so bad on Sunday night she kept us from sleeping. As soon as SAMs opened I went down at got a bag of this formula. I came home and started feeding this right away. (75/25 with old food). I fed her a little bit several times a day for 2 days. She is now 96/4 (almost off the old food) and guess who slept all night without scratching.? Yep my baby. I so will recommend this food. Thank you.

I have a 9 year old 85lb German Shepherd who has always been a VERY picky eater. Our breeder recommended Exceed 9 years ago (before grain free) so we fed that to him for a few years until he wouldn't really eat it anymore. We switched to a grain free 4 Health brand at Tractor Supply and he has been eating that for a few years. For every dog food we would try, we would always put the food in his bowl and he would sniff it and then eat it later when he wanted. That is until we tried this dog food. We poured it in his bowl and he immediately started eating it. We thought maybe he was just hungry, but nope, every time he eats it right away. I highly recommend this product.

Between the massive price hike and the fact that they reformulated, we will no longer be purchasing this. Our dogs LOVED this dog food before. Our pups have been feeding them this consistently for 2+ years. They used to get SO excited to eat it! Now they will only take a few bites at night. Which is really bad considering they only get fed once a day. It no longer smells like fish, my pups hate eating it, it has made them have diarrhea, etc We also strictly carried a Sams membership because of how great this dog food was. We will for sure not be renewing in November.

Our dachshund was having severe allergy issues and scratching around the clock. She had several raw places on her back and legs. The vet said it was seasonal and environmental. I bought this dog food for the first time . The itching decrease significantly and she has even lost some weight and seems to have more energy. She loves it and never leaves any. Lucy is 12 years old and I only wish that I had discovered this dog food in her younger years. I will never buy anything else for her.

We have been purchasing this food for our dogs for years and they both loved it! Recently they became very insistent that they were not going to eat it. We mixed things in with the kibble and eventually they would. Our older dog suddenly became I'll and collapsed to the floor. We were goo g to have him out down because we dis t want him to suffer. Made the very appointment and everything. Next morning he seemed ok. Happened again and we completely stopped the food and he is seeming so much better. Something has definitely changed with this food. I am returning it and we will feed our guys something else.

The first ingredient in this dog food is salmon. Although it is a quality item, raw salmon contains a lot of water. After cooking, most of that moisture is lost, reducing the meat content to just a fraction of its original weight. This product gets most of its protein from chickpeas and peas. Not good enough for over $30 a bag.

I've been using this dog food now for about six months. Both dogs like it. Couple days ago, my Miniature Schnauzer's mouth was full of blood and she was very distressed I found a sharp Shard of bone stuck between her tooth and gum. After closer inspection, I found lots of sharp shards of bone mixed in with the kibble and embedded in pieces of kibble. I guess Salmon bones are soft until they dry everything out then they become a hazard. I will not buy this food anymore. I reported this to my vet. She says that these little sharp pieces can cut or puncture the throat stomach and digestive tract. Please beware.

I was so happy to see that Sam's Club has joined the competitive healthy pet food world, and has come up with several flavors of AFFORDABLE & grain free dry food that I bought over one month ago for my 3 German Shepherd dogs. they love their food so far, and there have been zero issues. I'd love to see them expand into the healthy canned food world. ps.... don't forget about the kitties @ Sam's Club.

This is one of the only dog foods we have found that does not have chicken meal in the ingredients (our dog has a poultry allergy). So it is awesome. But my dogs are not crazy about the taste. They eat it only when they are super hungry and turn their nose up at it otherwise.

I switched to this grain free brand since the price was great compared to other grain free brands at the pet stores. My little boy loves it but the girl won't eat it. Maybe she doesn't like the fishy smell. She will eat the grain free chicken with pea recipe.
