Do NOT take these pills. This is ridiculous! I took one fast act lactaid pill and five minutes into my meal, I started to get extremely nauseous. It just hit me out of nowhere! Then I had to run to the bathroom with diarrhea. It hasn’t even been one full hour yet and I’ve thrown up several times and I’ve been to the bathroom three times. I feel queasy and sick. No warnings on the box! Look at all the negative reviews from people like me and still no mention to us customers about potential side effects? How disgusting! I pray that this doesn’t last for days like it did for some. I’m so upset right now.

I’ve been taking these for years, upwards of 20 and they’re the ONLY one that works. Without the help of Lactaid, I’d have a really boring diet; I never have cow’s milk anyway, can’t bear the thought, sight or smell of it, but cheese can be eaten without any problem with these.

I have been taking Lactaid for about a year now. I take one if I am only consuming a small amount of dairy like butter on toast. If I am having pizza I will take 2. It only lasts for about 1/2 hour so be careful and make sure to take another if you are having another slice. My only concern is that can my digestive system become immune to this product? If anyone can answer that, please do.

A few weeks ago I had an episode of vomiting and diarrhea which caused my blood pressure to bottom out from dehydration. I had thought it was some kind of virus....I did take Lactaid earlier in the day before it started....fast forward to today...have been better...but actually taken time...I took Lactaid this afternoon before eating pizza...now I find myself lying in bed wide awake at 1am because I'm vomiting with horrible diarrhea...will never recommend to anyone
