[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Lactaid Fast Act Caplets free from Home Tester Club, and was extremely pleased with the results. I have had big problems eating certain foods,such as lasagna with lots of cheese, in the past. I put the Lactaid caplets to the test with some lasagna and and did not suffer any of the problems I had experienced before.

Unfortunately, after about 1-1/2 hours I became ill (upset stomach, vomiting and diarrhea). I have tried other brands with negative results, so that's why I decided to give this product a try. This product is not for me.

I became lactose intolerant several years ago. My friend a Nurse told me I was showing signs, which got worse. She suggested your product. But as I see other comments....2 pills recommended do nothing. My friend said take 6. I take 8 now and No problem!!!! I only use when go out to really enjoy "my much missed cheese, dairy. Home use lactose free products. Most good except cheese!!!! Try suggestions to people that if 2 pills don't work take few more... won't be sorry. The other brands I tried before these were recommended, I needed more than 2 as well but did not work as good as Kirkland brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Lactaid Fast Act caplets from home testers club. I tried it for over a week and found that it really is not for me. It did help with bloating. but the gas not enough and diarrhea was so much more than before using.

While I'd like to give this 5 stars, it's really unfortunate that they don't offer the Fast Act variety in a bottle. The individually wrapped caplets are such a waste and a pain. I will actually spend more money on other brands just for the convenience of the bottle instead of the wrapped caplets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these tablets in the mail. I read the instructions and saved the box. Well i was craving an ice cream cone so I took a tablet. I did not get any discomfort at all after eating the cone. Another time, I wanted another cone, so I took a tablet. After about an hour, I did get gassy but with no stomach discomfort. I usually get colliccy and with stomach discomfort.

I feel more confident about eating ice cream, cheese, and milk now. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family! I've had IBS for over 20 yrs and a couple of yrs ago was told had giuten intolerance but some of the symptoms like bloating and gas was still there then found out that I had lactose intolerance but did not know what to do. A couple of years ago a family member told me about Lactaid and I thought it would not work but I was getting so uncomfortable that I decided to try Lactaid started with one, then started two believe it or not I have to take three to feel good. It is not completely gone but it is extremely manageable and I won't go without it.

Sadly as we get older our bodies start to change. Well I'm one of those people but the even worse thing is I CANNOT GO WITHOUT my cookies and milk, or cereal, ice cream, you name it, I have to have my milk. Well these caplets are a life saver. They really really work. I need to take 2 of them though but they are great and the vanilla flavor is not bad at all.

My boyfriend gets nauseous and severely vomits every time he takes these pills when ingesting some dairy. This should be on the label and listed as a side effect. It seems like many people have experienced these same effects. This is very irresponsible of the company. Consumer beware, you may severely vomit after taking these pills.
