I have always had moderate lactose intolerance, and tend to get gassy and bloated when I eat dairy. I tried this product and it allowed me to enjoy normal dairy foods that I would've otherwise avoided! It is really good at preventing negative side effects of lactose. I would highly recommend this.

I learned after taking just 1 tablet before dairy that it was a mistake I am a Two Tablet person just one did not help but when I took two before I ate dairy ( milk, ice creams , cheese ) I did not get the bloating gas and I did not have to make mad dashes to the bathroom Thank you Lactaid Fast Act you work for me.

I have been using Lactaid fast act pills since I’ve been in college. I was diagnosed with lactose intolerance when I was first year college student. I was suffering greatly even with nonfat milk so after finding these caplets, I was able to drink nondairy milk again. These are my go to and my lifeline so that I can enjoy a little bit of dairy in my life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lactaid Fast Act Caplets were packaged in individual pill packages which made them easy to carry in my pocket, purse, and billfold. The Caplets were easy to swallow and mostly tasteless. I had to take two caplets in order to ingest ice cream without immediate issues. I still had some bloating and stomach discomfort in a few hours or the next morning. While it was not the perfect product for me, it was useful and did work to a point. I will consider trying it again for my occasional ice cream treats. A little relief is better than no relief.

I bought this 2 days ago and took 2 tabs around 4p to have with ice cream. I woke the next morning with a splitting headache, dry mouth/swollen salivary duct under the tongue, severe nausea and vomiting (dry heaving). The headache and nausea/vomiting were so severe I couldn’t not keep down water nor sit or stand. I had to miss work and “doze” all day bc of the pain and discomfort. Able to drink sips of water that night. Next morning feeling generally unwell but able to keep down water, broth, rice crackers etc. Product not recommended. Take with extreme caution.

I have had no symptoms like I usually have - no bloating or gas. Thank goodness! I feel confident again so my fears to enjoy the little things I love are no issue anymore :) Very happy!

I hadn't used it for a long time and just stopped eating dairy products but it's nice to know I can eat them without suffering so much after.

These work great, but I don't understand why they don't sell them in bottles instead of single use packets only. I would buy the single use packets occasionally so I can carry some to eat out, but MOST of the time a bottle that I can just open and take a pill would be like every other supplement and pill that I take...CONVENIENT.

My roommate swears by lactaid and has it before almost every meal. I tried it a few times and always ended up nauseous. The most recent (and final) time I took it, I became incredibly nauseous after about an hour, and it devolved into hours long stomach pain, vomiting, and diarrhea.
