I was worried about the reviews of those who were sick after taking these, but that wasn’t the case for me at all. Taken about an hour before drinking a milkshake (a usual culprit for extreme digestive discomfort), it allowed me to enjoy my evening in peace. I love that they come in individual packets to easily keep in my handbag.

What is the Lactase derived from? From Corn, Aspergillus Niger or something else? Please put this on your label the origin of the Lactase enzyme so we can be educated consumers. This is expecially important for consumers who may avoid Corn OR are sensItive to the Aspergillus Niger mold.

Do not buy these. Years ago I tried these pills and found myself violently ill 3-4 hours after taking them, vomiting etc. Fast forward to yesterday, I thought I’d try them again. And sadly again 3 hours later I had severe nausea, was vomiting and had diarrhea. This is not what happens when I have dairy. Do your research before taking these, there are many others who experience similar reactions.

For the past few years I haven't been able to tolerate dairy products. I love to drink hot chocolate from Starbucks but it had become very painful. (I also have IBS) My Barista told me about Lactaid and it changed my life. This product is amazing. Don't give up on nutritious meals. Try this product. I promise you will not be disappointed. I think I have literally tried everything over the counter to ease my discomforts with dairy products of any kind. Even drinking coffee was becoming impossible for me. With the Lactaid Fast Act Caplets, I am back to drinking coffee and fully enjoying dairy again! I have been taking the caplets for 2 weeks now, and really enjoy food again. I'd drink a big glass and them my stomach would start cramping up. I found that if I take the Lactaid Caplet I can enjoy the milk that I love so much. Thank Lactaid.

It works for the occasional dairy treat but if you want to use it all the time, you would be consuming a lot of pills. It did not relieve all symptoms, but some and if you do want occasional relief I would recommend it!
