[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally don't like taking anything I don't have to, BUT Lactaid caplets give me the freedom and option to eat ice cream and queso when I am craving it!! Thanks to my free sample from Home Tester Club, I was reminded that I don't always have to say "Cut the dairy!" They work fast, and keep me discomfort free about 98% of the time.

I have always had moderate lactose intolerance, and tend to get gassy and bloated when I eat dairy. I tried this product and it allowed me to enjoy normal dairy foods that I would've otherwise avoided! It is really good at preventing negative side effects of lactose. I would highly recommend this.

I need 4 to 6 of the 9000 FCC units of lactase, even then that is not always enough for a meal with dairy. Lactaid doesn't have a bottle of these pills. Instead they individually wrap each pill so they can charge you more. And other companies have all jumped on that bandwagon. This is very expensive. If they cared about the consumer they could make a stronger pill or at least have a bulk option so I don't have to open all these pills at every meal. Or have all these big boxes when I could have a small bottle.

I had never used this particular product before and believe me I was a skeptic since no product had ever really worked for me! I had always had to deal with the after effects of eating milk with my cereal, ice cream for dessert and even some cheeses would upset my stomach. I was so relieved and excited that something finally worked for me!! I would certainly recommend Lactaid Fast Act Caplets to anyone who is lactose intolerant! I now will have this in my home for the times I want to enjoy dairy and not feel like I have to deal with the symptoms of bloating, diarrhea or any thing else! I am lactose intolerant and have taken Lactaid in the past while eating cheese and pizza. The first 2 times I felt a little nauseous but was able to sleep it off and wasn’t sure if it was caused from the lactaid. Last night I decided to give it another try and only had 1/2 a pill. Within a couple hours of dinner, the nausea started to kick in and then vomiting. I will never take lactaid again or recommend it! My severe gas pains caused by lactose intolerance are much better than the way I felt after taking this medicine!

My lactose intolerance has been getting worse recently so I thought I’d try lactaid pills to avoid the bad tummy and guts. The first couple of times I was fine, I felt a bit off but put it down to having had milk. Last Sunday on 12/31/23 I found myself very suddenly sick and heaving over the toilet. I thought it was food poisoning or the extreme pain I had been dealing with. Tonight I again took a lactaid pill so I could have a little bit of ice cream as I am recovering from major abdominal surgery! Couple hours later I’m again heaving but I didn't make it to the bathroom since I’m recovering from surgery and am slow! This is SO SERIOUS! And there are NO warnings on the box! I am in worse pain now and risk popping stitches because these supposedly harmless pills make people sick! I’m extremely disappointed, and disgusted, but sadly not surprised, I’m sure the company is more concerned with loss of profit by disclosing potential sickness than with the potential of causing real harm to someone.

I usually had to miss out on the things that I love and since trying Lactaid I don't have to. I take one tablet and that's enough to work for me. No awful trips to the bathroom and no nausea for me anymore. I'm grateful that I was able to try this product for free from Home Tester Club or else I would have missed out on a great product.

I used to consume a lot of dairy, but as I got older my body liked it less and less. It got to the point where I could have a bowl of cereal or yogurt occasionally and if I was lucky nothing would happen. That's why I was interested in trying the caplets. The first time I tried them I had no problems. There was no bloating, gas, it was great! It was so nice not to have an upset system. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for relief from dairy issues.

I don't know if it's just the Fast Act lactaid or what, but every single time I take one, I get severe upper stomach pains, like doubled over ready to cry pain... And really really bad nausea. Not sure why. But I'm done with these. I'd rather have the diarrhea.
