I became lactose intolerant several years ago. My friend a Nurse told me I was showing signs, which got worse. She suggested your product. But as I see other comments....2 pills recommended do nothing. My friend said take 6. I take 8 now and No problem!!!! I only use when go out to really enjoy "my much missed cheese, dairy. Home use lactose free products. Most good except cheese!!!! Try suggestions to people that if 2 pills don't work take few more... won't be sorry. The other brands I tried before these were recommended, I needed more than 2 as well but did not work as good as Kirkland brand.

I too was excited to imagine being able to take a supplement and consume dairy in moderation. Unfortunately, to my surprise I began experiencing nausea and vomiting shortly after beginning these tablets. Sometimes the nausea and vomiting would not present itself for more than 46 hours after ingesting a single tablet.

My little lactose intolerant daughters love the chewable - to them it tastes good, and it immediately relieves their stomach pains. I tried it today after getting a stomach ache from too much dairy in my meal. As soon as it dissolved in my mouth, my tongue and throat burned and I vomited for a good 5 minutes. My throat still tingles but the nausea passed after getting it out! Yuck

I Love Lactaid!! I have IBS and am lactose intolerant as well. i found that Lactaid is the only product, that allows me to enjoy some milk products, such as Silk,, and others, and also allows me to enjoy yogurt and frozen yogurt as well. I just take the tabs before eating, and it works so well. I have no side effects. i also have enjoyed the Lactaid Milk and the Lactaid Ice Cream as well, and I do recommend them. B

I normally suffer from what feels like indigestion or bloating immediately after eating dairy products; more so when it is yogurt or ice cream. I tried the product and it did take away some of the bloating feeling I had. Although, it did not relieve the symptoms completely.

I need 4 to 6 of the 9000 FCC units of lactase, even then that is not always enough for a meal with dairy. Lactaid doesn't have a bottle of these pills. Instead they individually wrap each pill so they can charge you more. And other companies have all jumped on that bandwagon. This is very expensive. If they cared about the consumer they could make a stronger pill or at least have a bulk option so I don't have to open all these pills at every meal. Or have all these big boxes when I could have a small bottle.

Me and milk use to have a loving relationship, but anymore, It's a love/hate relationship. I love to drink It, dunk cookies In It, eat with my fave cereals, etc., but there are times when I do that my poor stomach just feels horrible afterwards. I never thought of using a product such as this because I thought that It was something that happens as you get older. So glad I was wrong! After receiving this product, I decided It was time to test It as much as possible. I've drunk and used different types of milk such as whole, soy, and even lactose free just to level the playing field and see what happened. Needless to say, this stuff worked!
