I used to consume a lot of dairy, but as I got older my body liked it less and less. It got to the point where I could have a bowl of cereal or yogurt occasionally and if I was lucky nothing would happen. That's why I was interested in trying the caplets. The first time I tried them I had no problems. There was no bloating, gas, it was great! It was so nice not to have an upset system. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for relief from dairy issues.

I have taken the original Lactaid for the past several years and it works great! The few times I’ve tried to take the Fast Acting (convenient to-go packs) it has not worked at all. It almost seems as though my normal lactose intolerance symptoms have been worsened. Going back the the original - how about making on-the-go packages of those?!

I will be one to admit I did not believe this would do anything to help my issues. Although my mom and sister encouraged me to try this product I was still hesitant because of my history with dairy. It has been several years since I've had milk and ice cream while minimizing my intake with other dairy products (cheese...etc) because I was literally afraid of the consequences I would face later. I am happy I tried this product, I was so scared leading to my big day ( I know it sounds crazy to you but this was an event in my home) my husband was nervous because hes my masseur when things get UGLY. if you suffer like myself I would truly advise you to give this product a try, what more can you lose? Look at me I lost several years of good strawberry, chocolate and vanilla don't let this be you!

So glad I took this pill before I got in a train to the city. I ate my sandwich and now there’s high chance I’m going to vomit all over the train car. I thought I could make till at least 50 before pooping my pants as an adult, but that life goal is in jeopardy today. I’d rather take my chances with the lactose.

The second day I still had some symptoms but it was better after that. I was able to eat cottage cheese for the first time in years! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from Home Tester Club. I took 1 pill with my first bite of ice cream. Unfortunately, after about 1-1/2 hours I became ill (upset stomach, vomiting and diarrhea). I have tried other brands with negative results, so that's why I decided to give this product a try. This product is not for me.

I am very sensitive to dairy and get severe pain, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea after eating any kind of lactose. This is the only supplement that has helped me survive eating dairy and I have to take it literally with the first swallow of dairy and take another if still eating for 20 minutes. If your discomfort isn't as severe, you may can go longer but this is what works for me. Better than the original and much better than generic brands.
