I usually have to pour out any remaining milk after eating cereal, but by taking a caplet I was able to drink all of the remaining milk with no unpleasant effects.

I have taken Lactaid Caplets for nearly 20 years with all dairy products that I eat. I never have negative reactions to the Lactaid nor the dairy products. When I forget to carry Lactaid with me and stop by a fast food restaurant for a milkshake, by the time I get home, I get an upset stomach and/or diarrhea. I eat ice cream nightly and always take my Lactaid so I can enjoy it without worrying about getting a negative reaction. We have bought 2 boxes of 98 Lactaid Caplets monthly for many years. I do not plan to ever be without them in the future. I highly recommend Lactaid Caplets to my family, friends and anyone who have digestive issues with dairy products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a lactose intolerance individual (especially cream based foods), I was excited when the Home Tester Club sent a sample of LACTAID® Fast Act Caplets to my house. I was thrilled when I ate ice cream (cream based) after taking my caplet. There was no discomfort or regret that I had just consumed ice cream. My family was happy for me as well. The packaging is easy to open and the caplet was easy to swallow. I now enjoy more cream based dairy products and love it!!

I was diagnosed lactose intolerant in 2001 and primarily dealt with the symptoms for years. A doctor recommended Lactaid oral supplements as a solution. The first two uses were successful, but on the third use, I experienced severe abdominal pain and nausea. I did not originally attribute this to using Lactaid, so I used the product again three days later. The abdominal pain was crippling and I vomited several times. I experienced dizziness as well. When I confronted my doctor about this, she told me that some other people have the same issue and that I should discontinue use. I have not used the product since and the symptoms have not returned.

I took the product per directions with my first bite of food and did not suffer any symptoms related to lactose intolerance. A handy case to carry in my purse would be nice as I tend to forget to stash some packets every day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I used the LACTAID fast act capsules which I received free from Home Tester Club, I did not get diarrhea or a full feeling, but I did still get stomach aches and still felt sick. It was a very weird experience, I will continue to use them until the trial is gone; but I probably would not purchase these.

At first I was so excited that I found a “hack” to being able to enjoy dairy. I took this a few weeks ago and felt sick shortly after. I wondered if it was the food I ate. Took some again today with lunch and bam, I can barely move. I compare it to when you take something like iron or zinc on an empty stomach. But that is usually short lived and goes away after 20 mins. This is going on hour 3. My mouth is dry, I’m on the verge of vomiting and am confident it’s from the lactaid. Please be careful when taking this. It’s not worth it in my opinion. I’d rather deal with the dairy.

I have tried other supplements and have avoided dairy products because of my lactose intolerance. I was pleasantly impressed with the Lactaid tablets! I am now able to enjoy deserts with my friends and not worry about the stomach pains I would normally have with even a slight taste of dairy. Thank you for a wonderful product!
