I don't know if it's just the Fast Act lactaid or what, but every single time I take one, I get severe upper stomach pains, like doubled over ready to cry pain... And really really bad nausea. Not sure why. But I'm done with these. I'd rather have the diarrhea.

I put it to the test, I cooked a cheese recipe we haven't had in long time. My husband and I used the product and was surprised that it really worked like it said it would. Now we can enjoy food without the pain and worry. I recommend it.

I was diagnosed with total intolerance to lactose more than twenty years ago, and, after experimenting with a variety of supplements/digestive aids, I discovered the Lactaid brand. Lactaid Fast Act allows me to digest foods whose labels caution that they are ' produced on equipment that is also used to produce dairy products' without getting any side effects such as indigestion or upset stomach. I am also able to digest melted lactose-free cheeses with no digestive upset if I have taken one or two caplets before eating. I highly recommend this product.

I usually have issues with eating dairy, cheese and ice cream in particular. I was nervous to try them, but AMAZED at how well they worked!! I could not have been happier. My husband has the same issues and began using them as well. He loves them just as much as I do. I cannot recommend this product enough!

I will be one to admit I did not believe this would do anything to help my issues. Although my mom and sister encouraged me to try this product I was still hesitant because of my history with dairy. It has been several years since I've had milk and ice cream while minimizing my intake with other dairy products (cheese...etc) because I was literally afraid of the consequences I would face later. Works fast. I usually avoid ice cream mostly but now feel that i can enjoy it again with the help of these pills.

I had severe vomiting after taking this product (fact act caplets) on two occasions. I was trying to figure out what caused it and included lactaid in the google search, and found the reviews on this site. Apparently, a good number of people have this reaction. I called and reported it to them. I encourage others who have the reaction to call. I would like this side effect to be disclosed on the package for the consumer. I can eat Lactaid ice cream without a problem. Some reviews said they do not have the reaction with the chewables.
