I developed lactose intolerance as I aged, and the Lactaid works very well to prevent the symptoms; better than the generic brand. I only purchase this from Sam's Club becuase it is so much less expensive here than elsewhere.

If I had a choice between Fast Act or Original I would definitely pick Fast Act because it works where the Original did not. Fast Act gives me total relief in most cases and comes highly recommended from this user.

I’ve tried these pills three separate times, and I’ve had severe stomach pain and vomiting about three hours later, symptoms far worse than I have with consuming dairy alone. I can drink Lactaid milk, but these pills are awful.

I have to take two and I chew them right when I take my first bite of food with dairy in it. I have used these for quite a few years and find that “store” brands don’t work nearly as well.
