My little lactose intolerant daughters love the chewable - to them it tastes good, and it immediately relieves their stomach pains. I tried it today after getting a stomach ache from too much dairy in my meal. As soon as it dissolved in my mouth, my tongue and throat burned and I vomited for a good 5 minutes. My throat still tingles but the nausea passed after getting it out! Yuck

I normally suffer from what feels like indigestion or bloating immediately after eating dairy products; more so when it is yogurt or ice cream. I tried the product and it did take away some of the bloating feeling I had. Although, it did not relieve the symptoms completely.

This product works really well for me. I would have very bad cramps when every I ate dairy products so I saw commercial on tv about this product so I tried it and it worked. I told my daughters about it they love also. I told my friends and family they also love lactate so it's a winner

I have been taking lactaid for 25 yrs. It is a great product. I can now eat almost anything. I have a little difficulty eating ice cream sometimes but the fact that i can have cheese is great. I have lactose intolerence fairly bad have to take the pills with every meal. I have tried off brands but they do not work well. Thank you for making a great product.

Do NOT take these pills. This is ridiculous! I took one fast act lactaid pill and five minutes into my meal, I started to get extremely nauseous. It just hit me out of nowhere! Then I had to run to the bathroom with diarrhea. It hasn’t even been one full hour yet and I’ve thrown up several times and I’ve been to the bathroom three times. I feel queasy and sick. No warnings on the box! Look at all the negative reviews from people like me and still no mention to us customers about potential side effects? How disgusting! I pray that this doesn’t last for days like it did for some. I’m so upset right now.

A few weeks ago I had an episode of vomiting and diarrhea which caused my blood pressure to bottom out from dehydration. I had thought it was some kind of virus....I did take Lactaid earlier in the day before it started....fast forward to today...have been better...but actually taken time...I took Lactaid this afternoon before eating pizza...now I find myself lying in bed wide awake at 1am because I'm vomiting with horrible diarrhea...will never recommend to anyone

Like many on this thread, I have experienced severe nausea and vomiting with the Lactaid Fast Act- Extra Strength capsules (as recommended by my physician). I was hoping that it would be the answer for me but it is definitely not. Will not be taking again.

When I reached my 20's for some reason I couldn't tolerate dairy anymore. Milk and ice cream especially would leave me miserable with gas pain and diarrhea. I suffered for a long time or just avoided these items until I found Lactaid and now, with Lactaid Fast Act Caplets I can eat dairy without worry sooner than before!

I was skeptical at first but when I tried it for the first time when I wanted to have a cup of milk with a brownie I was amazed at how well it worked. I did not get any diarrhea after consuming milk. I feel like I can have dairy now like I used to.
