I usually have issues with eating dairy, cheese and ice cream in particular. I was nervous to try them, but AMAZED at how well they worked!! I could not have been happier. My husband has the same issues and began using them as well. He loves them just as much as I do. I cannot recommend this product enough!

Fast Acting Lactaid saved my special dinners for everyone. I am the one who needs the Lactaid, but before I discovered it I was eliminating some of the family favorites from the dinner menu. Home made lasagna loaded with two types of cheese is my Grandson's favorite but when I couldn't eat it, I didn't make it. My personal favorite 3/2/1 Quiche was off the table as well with the two cups of half and half and a cup of Swiss cheese per pie. Now I can make my family happy and enjoy these comfort foods with the ones I love. I use the pills as the chewables have citric acid which is also a no no for me. Please don't ever change your capsuls, your competition has citric acid in their brands as well. Thank you for saving dinner.

I bought this 2 days ago and took 2 tabs around 4p to have with ice cream. I woke the next morning with a splitting headache, dry mouth/swollen salivary duct under the tongue, severe nausea and vomiting (dry heaving). The headache and nausea/vomiting were so severe I couldn’t not keep down water nor sit or stand. I had to miss work and “doze” all day bc of the pain and discomfort. Able to drink sips of water that night. Next morning feeling generally unwell but able to keep down water, broth, rice crackers etc. Product not recommended. Take with extreme caution.

Both my kids were having a lot of gas pains, and they both drink a lot of milk (ages 12, 15). Lactaid has solved the problem for both of them. They pop one before they eat dairy (cheese, milk, ice cream) and so far, so good. To the person above who commented that Lactaid didn't help with the muffins and cake they were eating, you probably have a wheat sensitivity, not a dairy sensitivity. Lactaid is for DAIRY products, the products you mention have tons of WHEAT, but likely no dairy.

Note: I am writing this from bed. My work day shot. I wish I could select zero stars. My first, and now only, Lactaid chewable tablet, and had violent vomiting and diarrhea, the reaction so intense, it was as if my body was trying to expell poison. I am NOT exaggerating here. Four bouts, then utter exhaustion, body freezing, like I was in shock. Couldnt stomach even water for a few hours afterward. What a nightmare. Will never take Lactaid again. I wish I had known by packaging of this reaction. I would have never bought and risked.

I have tried different types of enzymes and probiotics that claim to help with lactose into lance however I always come back to the Lactaid pills. I take them either before the meal if I know it will contain dairy or after a meal if some dairy was inadvertently used. They work every time. Love these little pills. The chewable is also very convenient. I carry both types with me at all times.

I always make sure I have the caplets on me or near me at all times! I never go anywhere without them and even keep some in the car if I run out of the ones in my special container for them. I love being able to use dairy again without worrying. I do drink the lactaid milk though, so I don't have to use too many pills in one day, but if I don't cook the food myself, I always take the pills just to be safe.

I took it before I ate dairy and did not suffer from any effects from the dairy as i had been before. I was able to not have to take anything else besides the Lactaid pills and plan to get more when I run out of these. This is a very good product and does what it is supposed to do as far as I am concerned.

I love cheese and ice cream. Even the smallest amounts of those will make me sick. With Lactaid I can enjoy these once again.

It's a product that allows me to enjoy milkshakes again without worrying if it will wreak havoc on my digestive system and upset my stomach.
