I love cheese and ice cream. Even the smallest amounts of those will make me sick. With Lactaid I can enjoy these once again.

I am very lactose in-tolerate but I have such a hard time giving up dairy, it's in so many things I love. I also drink chocolate milk every morning how most people would drink coffee. After I drink my regular diary milk every morning I have bad coughing spells that make me want to get sick and then I get bloating a hour or so after that. I've never tried a lactaid before for my in-tolerance. I'm the type of person that doesn't like to take pills much for anything. I absolutely love these Lactaid Fast Act Caplets!! I take one right before I drink my chocolate milk and I'm good. There is no bad taste, no side effects or anything. Since taking these I have no more coughing after my dairy. The stomach issues have been drastically reduced and I feel so much better overall. This has helped me so much in enjoying what I love and not having to worry about side effects from the dairy. I usually cannot enjoy a milkshake and stay away from things made with a lot of milk. My husband was going to get ice cream and I had him get me a large milkshake. I tried one caplet with my shake. I did have some discomfort after consuming the shake but not as bad as usual. About 1 week later I decided to try again. I got another large shake and took two caplets with it. I received none of the usual symptoms that I would usually get when consuming a milk shake. So I feel that the Lactaid did what it said it would. I was surprised when reading the label that it contains natural ingredients. I like that and will surely be using it again. I am glad that I can enjoy some of the foods that I love but could not enjoy before!

I used these for a week while I ate what dairy I wanted, especially cheese and ice cream. Would take these prior to eating the dairy foods listed, but found that I still experienced some bloating and gas after eating dairy. It was not as bad as what I usually experience, so I feel that the Lactaid Fast Act Caplets did work somewhat, but not as much as I would have liked.

I am happy to say that after trying the lactaid tablets, I was able to drink milk, eat ice cream and enjoy dairy again with a happy tummy. First couple of times I used and it worked just fine. These last two times I have been met with extreme bloating, vomiting and diarrhea. My stomach was in excruciating pain unlike anything I’ve ever felt. I’m sure it was the pill because I tried it again just for confirmation and am currently dealing with the consequences.
