I used this product for a week and enjoyed dairy foods like i did as a child. I was not prepared for the pleasure of eating and not having my digestive system all messed up. Now I can choose to have one without all the side effects. Occasionally I still get stomach cramping but with lactaid is way better then my originally effects. These symptoms need to be listed as a side effect. The first time took lactaid I had sudden onset of vomiting and diarrhea which I thought was caused by food poisoning. The second dose I experienced nausea with abdominal cramping. I do recommend this product because I’ve used other Lactaid products which helped control my lactose intolerance issues. The product needs to be taken with caution.

Me and milk use to have a loving relationship, but anymore, It's a love/hate relationship. I love to drink It, dunk cookies In It, eat with my fave cereals, etc., but there are times when I do that my poor stomach just feels horrible afterwards. I never thought of using a product such as this because I thought that It was something that happens as you get older. So glad I was wrong! After receiving this product, I decided It was time to test It as much as possible. I've drunk and used different types of milk such as whole, soy, and even lactose free just to level the playing field and see what happened. Needless to say, this stuff worked! I was able to drink It, enjoy It In cereals, dunk It with cookies, cook with It In my fave recipes and not once did I suffer from any problems with my stomach afterwards. Very Impressed overall and plan to use this product for a long, long time.

I was able to eat all my favorite dairy products without worry of gas, bloating and diarrhea. This is a product I highly recommend to my family and friends who also suffer from lactose intolerance.

I've had stomach problems for years. My boyfriend bought me these thinking they would help. They did the 1st couple times i took the pills. The 3rd time taking them i felt sick for 3 days and had really bad diahreehea...I thought it was something i ate. Tonight i took them with my ice cream and about 2 hours later i was vomiting. I've also had severe stomach pains and diahreehea again. Not good at all for me

I buy these regularly since I'm lactose intolerant. They don't completely get rid of the effects of dairy for me, but they work well enough that I'm not completely dying and I definitely regret it if I don't take them. Definitely a must-have product for me.
