I too was excited to imagine being able to take a supplement and consume dairy in moderation. Unfortunately, to my surprise I began experiencing nausea and vomiting shortly after beginning these tablets. Sometimes the nausea and vomiting would not present itself for more than 46 hours after ingesting a single tablet.

I have been taking Lactaid for about a year now. I take one if I am only consuming a small amount of dairy like butter on toast. If I am having pizza I will take 2. It only lasts for about 1/2 hour so be careful and make sure to take another if you are having another slice. My only concern is that can my digestive system become immune to this product? If anyone can answer that, please do.

I don't know if it's just the Fast Act lactaid or what, but every single time I take one, I get severe upper stomach pains, like doubled over ready to cry pain... And really really bad nausea. Not sure why. But I'm done with these. I'd rather have the diarrhea.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i received Lactaid Fast Act Lactase Enzyme Supplement from Home Tester Club a week ago and have used it every day since then. i admit that was somewhat skeptical that anything would help me to eat and enjoy dairy again, but Lactaid has DEFINITELY changed my mind. not only does it claim to prevent "gas, bloating, and diarrhea associate with digesting dairy", it actually WORKS!!! anybody with lactose-intolerance issues can now eat dairy again and enjoy it without consequences!!! i've been lactose-intolerant for over 30 years, unable to enjoy ice cream, milk, cottage cheese, even cheese on hamburgers; now, i get to not only eat these things again, but i actually can enjoy them again without having to worry about gas, bloating, or diarrhea (or any other problems). i'm so grateful to Home Tester Club for allowing me to test this product. now, i have something i can take to enjoy dairy again. hello, morning cereal again! hello, dairy!!!

During the last week I took Lactaid when drinking a latte and while eating cheese, yogurt and ice cream and I noticed a dramatic difference in how I felt afterwards. In the past I would feel terrible after ingesting almost any kind of Dairy, especially milk and ice cream. After taking Lactaid with dairy this last week I was very pleasantly surprised. I didn't experience any stomach cramps or any of the other usual side effects. It was fantastic!! I am excited to start including dairy in my diet again!!

There was no after taste. I have minimal difficulty with digesting a small amount of dairy products, when I consumed more than a small amount, Lactaid seemed to lessen the bloating I associate with a small serving of dairy.

Me and milk use to have a loving relationship, but anymore, It's a love/hate relationship. I love to drink It, dunk cookies In It, eat with my fave cereals, etc., but there are times when I do that my poor stomach just feels horrible afterwards. I never thought of using a product such as this because I thought that It was something that happens as you get older. So glad I was wrong! After receiving this product, I decided It was time to test It as much as possible. I've drunk and used different types of milk such as whole, soy, and even lactose free just to level the playing field and see what happened. Needless to say, this stuff worked! I was able to drink It, enjoy It In cereals, dunk It with cookies, cook with It In my fave recipes and not once did I suffer from any problems with my stomach afterwards. Very Impressed overall and plan to use this product for a long, long time.

Now I can choose to have one without all the side effects. Occasionally I still get stomach cramping but with lactaid is way better then my originally effects. Highly reccomend and will buy again soon. My significant other received this product free from home tester club. I give two thumbs up.

I have been taking the pills for years when I eat dairy products. Taking 3-4 capsules usually does the trick for me. I just have a regular bowel movement the next day. I have never vomited from taking this product. I am sorry to hear that others have. I also only drink Lactaid or non-dairy milk.
