I am very happy that there is a product like LACTAID that will take care of all the problems associated with lactose intolerance. It works wonders!

I took it before I ate dairy and did not suffer from any effects from the dairy as i had been before. I was able to not have to take anything else besides the Lactaid pills and plan to get more when I run out of these. This is a very good product and does what it is supposed to do as far as I am concerned.

My partner was lactose intolerant and just suffered before finding this product. We tried it a long time ago, but the first time she took a pill and was able to eat ice cream without getting sick, she never looked back. I tell everyone about this product!

I became lactose intolerant several years ago. My friend a Nurse told me I was showing signs, which got worse. She suggested your product. But as I see other comments....2 pills recommended do nothing. My friend said take 6. I take 8 now and No problem!!!! I only use when go out to really enjoy "my much missed cheese, dairy. Home use lactose free products. Most good except cheese!!!! Try suggestions to people that if 2 pills don't work take few more... won't be sorry. The other brands I tried before these were recommended, I needed more than 2 as well but did not work as good as Kirkland brand.

I have used lactaid milk products without issue, so I bought this a week ago or so to try it and regret it completely. Like others in these reviews, I experienced severe nausea and vomiting a few hours after taking lactaid fast act, and it took a few times to connect the dots. There is NO excuse for failing to list nausea and vomiting as a potential (if uncommon) side effect on the box when they've received as many reviews like this one as lactaid has. If only I had read these reviews before I took it, then I would have only had to suffer once before realizing that lactaid fast act is not for me.

I always make sure I have the caplets on me or near me at all times! I never go anywhere without them and even keep some in the car if I run out of the ones in my special container for them. I love being able to use dairy again without worrying. I do drink the lactaid milk though, so I don't have to use too many pills in one day, but if I don't cook the food myself, I always take the pills just to be safe.

I bought this 2 days ago and took 2 tabs around 4p to have with ice cream. I woke the next morning with a splitting headache, dry mouth/swollen salivary duct under the tongue, severe nausea and vomiting (dry heaving). The headache and nausea/vomiting were so severe I couldn’t not keep down water nor sit or stand. I had to miss work and “doze” all day bc of the pain and discomfort. Able to drink sips of water that night. Next morning feeling generally unwell but able to keep down water, broth, rice crackers etc. Product not recommended. Take with extreme caution.

I started using before I eat dairy, and love the improvement I have seen in my digestive system. I have less tummy aches and I feel free, again, to start eating dairy without fear and getting sick. I would recommend this product to anyone I knew who also struggled with lactose intolerance, but wants to be able to eat dairy.

Have had Gastro-esophageal reflux for years and currently taking Dexilant, a PPI, for it. Recently diagnosed with lactose intolerance. Tried Lactaid Fast Act. While it took care of the lactose intolerance, it completely wiped out the benefit of the Dexilant. Is this a known interaction of Lactaid Fast Act? Is it due to an inactive ingredient? If so, is the same interaction expected with your Lactaid "Original"? Any suggestions for what I should try? Where can I get more specific info?

I had never used this particular product before and believe me I was a skeptic since no product had ever really worked for me! I had always had to deal with the after effects of eating milk with my cereal, ice cream for dessert and even some cheeses would upset my stomach. I was so relieved and excited that something finally worked for me!! I would certainly recommend Lactaid Fast Act Caplets to anyone who is lactose intolerant! I now will have this in my home for the times I want to enjoy dairy and not feel like I have to deal with the symptoms of bloating, diarrhea or any thing else! And, now I am free to go out to a restaurant and have dairy and not worry that I might feel ill afterwards! Thank you Lactaid for this amazing product! <3
