For my lactose intolerance, it is a great product to give me protection at a restaurant before a meal. I carry a few packs inside my wallet while I'm out. If I should stop at a fast food place or eat on the go, food containing milk products won't do harm to my stomach.

Especially, when it involves my lactose intolerant. There is nothing worse than not being able to enjoy what you like. I am a HUGE fan of cheese. SO I took a caplet of Lactaid Fast Act and prayed for the best. An hour after eating the grilled cheese sandwich I was still fine. No bloating or gas all day long. The next day we went for frozen yogurt(this is usually when I get gas, bloating diarrhea and the upchucks). Not one of the symptoms came to be. I have been using them every day for 3 weeks. I enjoyed ice cream with my granddaughter and I can now drink milk and had deviled eggs on Easter with my family and not one once of pain or gas... I have since stocked up on this Lactaid it gave me the freedom to enjoy dairy again...I give to my son now who is Lactose intolerant also and have told all my family members on Easter all 23 that attended...I am a firm believer in this product...

I wish I had discovered Lactaid Fast Act long time ago. Crazy me! I bought this product a week ago. All I can say is that it works really well & so far, I have not experienced any ill side effects. When dining out, I will keep a caplet or two in my purse just in case I decide to order a dish that has dairy in it.

Being limited to eating only certain foods and having to avoid food and drinks that you love makes you feel like you're being 'held hostage' to a certain extent. I did not want to put my stomach on the line by willingly eating dairy when I know that it can cause me pain, especially after reading the box and seeing that their claims had not been evaluated by the FDA. I ate both pizza and ice cream on my first night and I actually got a full nights sleep. Usually I find myself awake with stomach cramps at 3 am when I do this. Lactaid helped me enjoy cereal and milk, nachos, grilled cheese, and anything I could think to try with dairy in it. It was great, but did only work to an extent. Sometimes the pain found a way to seep through, especially if I had too much dairy. I am still suspicious that when it works it is only a placebo effect; all in my head, but it does not matter as long as it works. It is worth a try for anyone with lactose intolerance.
