The pills helped me to enjoy dairy without consequence as long as I did not overdo it on the dairy. Though I did feel stopped up after taking the pill, it was an okay effect in order to be able to enjoy dairy once in awhile. I really liked using this product if I wasn't sure about the dairy content in my meal, so that I could use it as a safety, or just in case. Thank you for making me feel more confident that I wouldn't get sick from dairy!

None of the gas or discomfort. Best product ever. I take one pill & it worked all day! Already recommending it to everyone I know. Definite must have if you are lactose intolerant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to still watch I eat because, I have to take a thyroid medication so I can not take a medication like this until the thyroid medication is in my system for 4 hours. Then I can take something usually I take fiber pills, it helps a little and I eat a lot of popcorn. I took 1 lactaid after my 4 hours was up and it help a lot. Thank You

My husband is also using lactaid products. I am very grateful you trusted me to review this product. It is one of our favorites and we will continue using it and telling our friends and family.

For the past couple of years I have never realized I was lactose intolerant I always got stomach aches, cramps, and diarrhea. I never pin pointed what kept making me feel this way until I realized I was lactose intolerant, and finally I am able to eat the thing I used to love like ice cream and cereal. These work wonders and they really do help with the symptoms. I would very much recommend using these if you are lactose intolerant and want to enjoy ice cream again and other dairy products.

Sadly as we get older our bodies start to change. Well I'm one of those people but the even worse thing is I CANNOT GO WITHOUT my cookies and milk, or cereal, ice cream, you name it, I have to have my milk. Well these caplets are a life saver. They really really work. I need to take 2 of them though but they are great and the vanilla flavor is not bad at all.

I have tried different types of enzymes and probiotics that claim to help with lactose into lance however I always come back to the Lactaid pills. I take them either before the meal if I know it will contain dairy or after a meal if some dairy was inadvertently used. They work every time. Love these little pills. The chewable is also very convenient. I carry both types with me at all times.

I was not completely confident that it would prevent symptoms from occurring but I thought it was worth a try. I know for a fact that it does prevent my symptoms because one time while testing the product I forgot to take the product before eating dairy and remembered right as I finished and I did not suffer symptoms anywhere as severe as I would have without using the product. I experienced no symptoms when taking the product before indulging in dairy. I was very pleased with the product and will use it again. Thank you.

I recently acquiesced to my lactose intolerance. I'm not thrilled... I tried a Lactaid Fast-Act before eating a piece of red velvet cake: got cramps and gas. I tried 2 Fast Act pills before Valentine's Day: same reaction. I tried eating a very big bakery muffin with no pills at all - and I've been very uncomfortable for 2 days. Lactaid fast Act lessens the experience of gas + cramps + bloating, but it doesn't prevent the onset of symptoms completely. It's worth a shot to see how your body responds to Fast Act.

I tried to actually have some ice cream and iced coffee with milk in it, and I regretted!!! I took the Lactaid as directed each time and felt no relief from my distress! I have avoided dairy for a long time for this reason, but thought I should try Lactaid. I really was hoping it would work.
