[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a free sample of Lactaid fast acting caplets from Home tester club and they helped me not to get gas or feel so bloated when I took them. Sometimes when I would have milk in my cereal or drink milk I would have the urge or need to belch to get rid of the gas or bloated feeling but after taking Lactaid tablets I don't need to as much.

These symptoms need to be listed as a side effect. The first time took lactaid I had sudden onset of vomiting and diarrhea which I thought was caused by food poisoning. The second dose I experienced nausea with abdominal cramping. I do recommend this product because I’ve used other Lactaid products which helped control my lactose intolerance issues. The product needs to be taken with caution.

I started to use Lactaid 5 years ago (milk) but 4 months ago after my stomach cancer I have to remove 92% of my stomach and lactose intolerance got to the clouds; I started taking the pills when I wasn't sure food was lactose free, o God I'm blessed I can eat anything. If I forget about the pills and eat and get sick even 1 hour later I take them and like magic symptoms are gone. I wish Lactaid would add yogurt and cream cheese o the product line

Lactaid Fast Act Lactase Enzyme Supplements work awesome! I am not diagnosed with lactose intolerance but these really help with my sensitivity to lactose. I usually take one before eating a lot of cheese, milk, or ice cream and I never have a stomach ache.

I currently avoid most dairy products because of the discomfort I experience. Since using LACTAID caplets the symptoms have pretty much disappeared.
