I can now eat my ice cream and certain fruits and vegetables without hurting so bad and giving me that bloated gas feeling in my stomach. I tried to actually have some ice cream and iced coffee with milk in it, and I regretted!!! I took the Lactaid as directed each time and felt no relief from my distress! I have avoided dairy for a long time for this reason, but thought I should try Lactaid. I really was hoping it would work.

I have taken the original Lactaid for the past several years and it works great! The few times I’ve tried to take the Fast Acting (convenient to-go packs) it has not worked at all. It almost seems as though my normal lactose intolerance symptoms have been worsened. Going back the the original - how about making on-the-go packages of those?!

I bought this 2 days ago and took 2 tabs around 4p to have with ice cream. I woke the next morning with a splitting headache, dry mouth/swollen salivary duct under the tongue, severe nausea and vomiting (dry heaving). The headache and nausea/vomiting were so severe I couldn’t not keep down water nor sit or stand. I had to miss work and “doze” all day bc of the pain and discomfort. Able to drink sips of water that night. Next morning feeling generally unwell but able to keep down water, broth, rice crackers etc. Product not recommended. Take with extreme caution.

I have tried the Lactaid fast act and found that it helped with the gas and bloating unlike the plain Lactaid. If I had a lot of dairy products, I did find that I needed to take more than one. This is a great product that really does work. I used to fear that I would not be able to enjoy my favorite foods after i discovered that I was Lactose Intolerant. My grandmother suggested LACTAID Fast Act Caplets and I no longer had to worry about missing out on my favorites. It is as easy as taking the pill, eating your meal, and forgetting about it.

During the last week I took Lactaid when drinking a latte and while eating cheese, yogurt and ice cream and I noticed a dramatic difference in how I felt afterwards. In the past I would feel terrible after ingesting almost any kind of Dairy, especially milk and ice cream. After taking Lactaid with dairy this last week I was very pleasantly surprised. I didn't experience any stomach cramps or any of the other usual side effects. It was fantastic!! I am excited to start including dairy in my diet again!!

So glad I took this pill before I got in a train to the city. I ate my sandwich and now there’s high chance I’m going to vomit all over the train car. I thought I could make till at least 50 before pooping my pants as an adult, but that life goal is in jeopardy today. I’d rather take my chances with the lactose.
