Sometimes when I would have milk in my cereal or drink milk I would have the urge or need to belch to get rid of the gas or bloated feeling but after taking Lactaid tablets I don't need to as much.

About 7 years ago I learned I was mildly lactose intolerant, so I decided to try Lactaid. My symptoms weren’t that bad to begin with, so imagine my surprise when, after taking Lactaid for the first time and eating a small amount of dairy, I experienced horrible nausea and vomiting within 2 hours. I didn’t realize the Lactaid had caused it until after I took it twice more and the same thing happened. Within 2 hours, boom — debilitating nausea and eventually vomiting. And I don’t throw up when I’m sick. Ever. It’s grossly disingenuous not to warn consumers of this potential horrific side effect, especially since it seems to happen to a decent chunk of us. Do better. And no, I will not call your 1-800 number.

I received a sample of Lactaid Fast Act tablets in the mail last week. I immediately wanted to test this product. I followed the simple instructions, one pill right before eating any dairy product. To my amazement i was able to eat a bowl of cereal without having any major gas related complications. Finally I am free again to enjoy all my favorite dairy products. Including my all time favorite ice cream. So a big shout out to the makers of Lactaid and the Home Testers Club for my new found freedom. Trust me if you have any problems from eating dairy give this a try, you won't be sorry!

I used this product for a couple of days and what I noticed as a significant change was the absence of pain and discomfort in my stomach when taking the caplet with my first bite of the dairy product. I did still experience a little bit of gas after the consumption of the dairy products, but the amount was much less than usual. As stated before, my biggest advantage was the absence of pain and discomfort after eating the dairy products. The only other downside I had was the fact that I had to remember to have the caplets with or on me wherever I went in case I was going to eat dairy. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that suffers from any issues with dairy.

I just tried these pills yesterday at the state fair and they worked amazing! I was FINALLY able to have ice cream and cheesy foods with minimal discomfort. I'm so thankful for all the Lactaid products, but especially this because not everyone carries lactose free options and these come in handy.

It works great! I am able to enjoy cheese and other items that contain dairy without worrying about discomfort and stomach issues. I would recommend this to anyone who is experiencing stomach issues after eating. Dairy and lactose are included in a lot of foods you would not expect, and it helps me tremendously.

I just happened to see these reviews and found others who also had fast onset of nausea and vomiting after taking fast acting Lactaid. the nausea and vomiting started about 30 minutes after my meal. I then continued with the nausea and then dry vomiting throughout the night. After taking it again a few weeks later, the same thing happened. I had no problems drinking your Lactaid Milk. I think this may have been caused by one of the following ingredients. Microcrystalline Cellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium or Crospovidone.I now try not to purchase products with any of these ingredients and have not had the problem.
