During the last week I took Lactaid when drinking a latte and while eating cheese, yogurt and ice cream and I noticed a dramatic difference in how I felt afterwards. In the past I would feel terrible after ingesting almost any kind of Dairy, especially milk and ice cream. After taking Lactaid with dairy this last week I was very pleasantly surprised. I didn't experience any stomach cramps or any of the other usual side effects. It was fantastic!! I am excited to start including dairy in my diet again!!

So glad I took this pill before I got in a train to the city. I ate my sandwich and now there’s high chance I’m going to vomit all over the train car. I thought I could make till at least 50 before pooping my pants as an adult, but that life goal is in jeopardy today. I’d rather take my chances with the lactose.

Both my kids were having a lot of gas pains, and they both drink a lot of milk (ages 12, 15). Lactaid has solved the problem for both of them. They pop one before they eat dairy (cheese, milk, ice cream) and so far, so good. To the person above who commented that Lactaid didn't help with the muffins and cake they were eating, you probably have a wheat sensitivity, not a dairy sensitivity. Lactaid is for DAIRY products, the products you mention have tons of WHEAT, but likely no dairy.

I recently acquiesced to my lactose intolerance. I'm not thrilled... I tried a Lactaid Fast-Act before eating a piece of red velvet cake: got cramps and gas. I tried 2 Fast Act pills before Valentine's Day: same reaction. I tried eating a very big bakery muffin with no pills at all - and I've been very uncomfortable for 2 days. Lactaid fast Act lessens the experience of gas + cramps + bloating, but it doesn't prevent the onset of symptoms completely. It's worth a shot to see how your body responds to Fast Act.

These symptoms need to be listed as a side effect. The first time took lactaid I had sudden onset of vomiting and diarrhea which I thought was caused by food poisoning. The second dose I experienced nausea with abdominal cramping. I do recommend this product because I’ve used other Lactaid products which helped control my lactose intolerance issues. The product needs to be taken with caution.

I have tried other supplements and have avoided dairy products because of my lactose intolerance. I was pleasantly impressed with the Lactaid tablets! I am now able to enjoy deserts with my friends and not worry about the stomach pains I would normally have with even a slight taste of dairy. Thank you for a wonderful product!

This product made me very ill for about a week until I stopped and realized it was the source of making me sick. Dealt with severe stomach pains & nausea. Never again will spend another dime on any lactaid product. As I believe this is false advertising for not including a warning label and warning others on the true side effects that they will experience.

I recently started to become lactos a few years back but it has been getting a lot worse. I changed my diet to exclude any milk but still the little things like a piece of candy can upset my tummy. I was very excited to try these pills. I had hope that maybe I can be normal again. I've only been using these pills for a week now and let me tell you, they work! The difference is amazing! I can eat milk products and drink milk itself and I wont have tummy troubles! The only thing I can say that is a let down is Im still incredibly bloated. Today is actually the first day I woke up less bloated than normal but still bloated. Im hoping over time these pills will eliminate the bloating completely! Thank you, home tester club and Lactaid!
