I don't always have discomfort when enjoying dairy but certain items cause a lot of discomfort (ice cream, certain brands of pizza, and some milk). I haven't ever used a product such as Lactaid before, I just avoided certain foods or dealt with the discomfort. I was leery about trying it but I am so glad I did. I will buy this product and since it comes in individual packet I put it in my purse. Make sure you take it with your first bite otherwise it doesn't work as well if you take it after. Still works but not as well.

i have been using this product for approximately two months and it works amazingly whenever I eat dairy products and it is fast acting. I take one capsule for small portions and two capsules for large portions. I use several capsules throughout the day, but I'm so blessed to not have gas, bloating, or tummy aches.

I learned after taking just 1 tablet before dairy that it was a mistake I am a Two Tablet person just one did not help but when I took two before I ate dairy ( milk, ice creams , cheese ) I did not get the bloating gas and I did not have to make mad dashes to the bathroom Thank you Lactaid Fast Act you work for me.

None of the gas or discomfort. Best product ever. I take one pill & it worked all day! Already recommending it to everyone I know. Definite must have if you are lactose intolerant.

While I agree with other comments that they don’t eliminate every GI symptom associated with dairy ingestion I firmly stand by that I can have a modest portion of ice cream, cheese or yogurt attempting to live a bit conventionally and not having to substitute in every corner of my life. It’s the difference between mild symptoms and a full on discomfort for me. Especially for travel, vacation, business meetings, social it’s easier to carry my lactaid and eat conventional offerings.

I put it to the test, I cooked a cheese recipe we haven't had in long time. My husband and I used the product and was surprised that it really worked like it said it would. Now we can enjoy food without the pain and worry. I recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving the Lactaid caplets I was a little afraid of trying to consume ice cream or a glass of milk but I have to say it cut down the gassiness and bloating not completely but enough that I could eat dairy and not be gassing it up in front of people. Not sure I would buy this for it is a little to expensive for my budget but for occasional use of dairy it might be worth it

I usually had to miss out on the things that I love and since trying Lactaid I don't have to. I take one tablet and that's enough to work for me. No awful trips to the bathroom and no nausea for me anymore. I'm grateful that I was able to try this product for free from Home Tester Club or else I would have missed out on a great product.

I recently acquiesced to my lactose intolerance. I'm not thrilled... I tried a Lactaid Fast-Act before eating a piece of red velvet cake: got cramps and gas. I tried 2 Fast Act pills before Valentine's Day: same reaction. I tried eating a very big bakery muffin with no pills at all - and I've been very uncomfortable for 2 days. Lactaid fast Act lessens the experience of gas + cramps + bloating, but it doesn't prevent the onset of symptoms completely. It's worth a shot to see how your body responds to Fast Act.

Do NOT take these pills. This is ridiculous! I took one fast act lactaid pill and five minutes into my meal, I started to get extremely nauseous. It just hit me out of nowhere! Then I had to run to the bathroom with diarrhea. It hasn’t even been one full hour yet and I’ve thrown up several times and I’ve been to the bathroom three times. I feel queasy and sick. No warnings on the box! Look at all the negative reviews from people like me and still no mention to us customers about potential side effects? How disgusting! I pray that this doesn’t last for days like it did for some. I’m so upset right now.
