DISGUSTING - why did you change the beef chub?

DISGUSTING - Bought on the 18th and these images are what I got, the last 2 times I went back to Sams the beef chubs have changed and no longer look right. I always bought this ground beef when I went to sams club but won't purchase it anymore, in fact it was really the only reason for having a club membership over other warehouse stores. Are other people noticing this? What have they done? Huge chunks of fat, silver skin, and grissle. It's disgusting to look at and it the texture and taste matches - DISGUSTING threw it away! Sams Club what happened?

VERY Disappointing!

I bought a tube of the 20% - 80% ground beef today. Made a big patty & tossed it on the grill.  VERY Disappointing!  My 1 burger had 5 chunks of bone in it and the flavor wasn't much either.  Normally Sam's meat is at least about normal quality.  Now I have 9.5 lbs. of dog food, I wouldn't serve it to anyone I know.

80/20 ground beef bones found in it multipule time

I used to buy this at Sams for many years, I began to find bits of bone in each package. After 10 packs and always getting it I decided to try the 90/10. I have not had any problems with it at all. But I picked up last week a package of the 80/20 by accident and low and behold a large shard of bone again. Its been almost 8 months since I purchased the 80/20 meats and it took 1 time to remind me not to get it again. I will be more aware when picking up my next roll. I wonder if I am the only one finding bone in this meat?

Hardly Ever in Stock

Were real close to Labor Day and this is hardly ever in stock but yet they have the wholesale package which has multiples in for over $200 in stock at the store. So why don't they take it out of the box put it on the shelf as individual units and make your customers happy???

Facts About Ground Chuck

This 80/20 ground beef (ground chuck) is considered to be the best for making hamburgers. If ground beef is advertised as being ground chuck, the fat also has to be chuck. Other ground beef products might have some ground chuck but can contain almost any mixed beef and fat content including what is referred to as pink slime which can legally be called ground beef. Lean doesn't mean that the meat is great tasting or high quality. I think the main use of using the word lean is to trick the consumer.

Sam’s Meat Fan

I LOVE this ground meat. I buy the whole tube. The butcher at my store will slice into 1/3 lb burgers. I freeze four in each ziplock bag and I can use at a later date for burgers, meatballs and spaghetti, hamburger helper...whatever! I can cook burgers from frozen, by throwing in skillet with a few tablespoons of water. They cook up beautifully, within 20 minutes. This is my absolute favorite ground meat!

Not what used to be

Tough/gristle pieces all through. It is awful. I have brought this in the past. I divide it and vacuum seal and freeze it. We have never had a problem. I purchased 2 tubes. Cost around $80 and sealed and froze in 1 pound packages. We cooked 2 burgers today on griddle. Usually they are great. These were awful. Chunks of gristle and tough meat. Nothing like Sam's used to sell. I don't know what this stuff is or how we can use it. I feel I'm out $80 plus the cost of 20 seal a meal bags. I will never buy this again.

Worst ground beef - Ever

I recently purchased this 80/20 ground beef chub as I have many times. I do not know what has happened to Sam's Club meat department in Mansfield, Texas and how sanitary they are now. After cooking and consuming this ground beef the first bite I felt something in my mouth that was not right. I immediately spit out a most gross something that I do not know what it was, and I do not mean a piece of plastic or something that I would recognize. This gross thing was about 1 1/2 inches long and about half that wide and obviously did not go through a meat grinder. In other words, it was added to this meat after it was ground and during packaging. Either someone is not sanitary in packaging, or maybe it was intentional, I do not know. Never again will I purchase any beef product in this club.
