Ingredients

• 10 lbs ground beef
• 4 cups diced onion
• 10 cloves garlic, minced
• ½ cup chili powder
• ¼ cup ground cumin
• 2 tbsp paprika
• 2 tbsp garlic powder
• 2 tbsp onion powder
• 2 tbsp kosher salt
• 2 tsp black pepper
• 2 cups tomato sauce
• 2 cups beef broth or water

Instructions

1. Brown the ground beef in batches in a large stockpot or two large skillets.
2. Drain excess fat if desired.
3. Add the onions and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the garlic for 1 minute.
4. Mix in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
5. Add the tomato sauce and beef broth. Simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Serve immediately or cool and portion into freezer-safe containers.
