[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had two GE Cafe coffee makers over the past few years and I love them. I only buy SCA-certified coffee makers, as they are the only coffee makers that I know will brew my coffee hot enough. What sets GE makers apart is the Smart HQ app, which is the only app that allows you to brew a pot of coffee whenever you want, without the need to set a timer (don't be fooled by overpriced, cheap makers, as their app is garbage)! I have very limited space in my coffee bar, and I am getting a new espresso machine which is wider than my current one. This requires me to get a slimmer coffee maker, hence the need for a new one. The profile is only 7” wide, so it is a great fit (it is tall, but that isn't a problem for me). I love the addition of the grind and brew feature, which allows for a fresher pot than when I grind my beans the night before brewing. I believe that this maker is also a great value, and is fairly priced. Outstanding!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can enjoy the best freshly brewed coffee in the comfort of my home. Finally, a coffee maker that can be tailored to my needs. I can brew 1 cup or a carafe at the strength I prefer. The superior quality of the coffee taste was the reason for my purchase, but knowing that my daily ritual is not contributing to our landfill is also essential.

So far the coffee maker has been excellent beyond expectations based on the ratings in Amazon... (1) Quality and consistency is great (2) Minimal noise during grinning (3) great options in sizes as well as picking the desired brewing temperature. (4) Connectivity is great, whether you can program, use the phone or use google to make the coffee is a great flexibility

This is a replacement for the 2 Cuisinart's we have had over the years, so far I love it, much quieter, I like how you can do a mug option, I like the water holder a lot too and all the options for brew strength and temp, that is a huge plus! Only complaint is the water sprinkler thing that gets full of grounds every time you use it. So far so good though!

By far the best coffee maker I've ever owned, it's easy to use and gives you a lot of customization options. The versatility between brewing directly to cup in the carafe for when you when you are hosting or just need an after work pick me up. Stop wasting your time with the bland Keurig. Once you try this, you'll never go back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brews a great cup of coffee. The app sucks ! does not allow me to save a schedule. Not intuitive. Constantly floods me with notifications that are false positives. I disabled the bean sensor that helped a bit. The rest of the notifications are just random nonsense i.e. ensure filter basket is seated etc etc. Please fix the app !!

Opening the basket holder lid pulls it out of its seat. You can't close the basket holder unless you get it seated and it takes some effort to seat it. Takes 3-4 minutes to make a cup. Spills coffee when the basket holder is opened unless it's allowed to dry after brewing. Major cleanup job with every cup. If you use it mostly for one-cup, you have to store the large basket somewhere. The user manual isn't very useful for anything but setting it up initially. The app is pretty useless: why do you need bluetooth connectivity to brew or program something that requires you to be present to load it with coffee, etc? Youtube indicates that the voice command is unreliable, as if you needed that either. Bright side? You can make a great cup of coffee with it. Oh, and it's pretty.

The product makes good coffee, but it has a design flaw. The basket door pops open during grinding and has to be held closed. It works for the first few brews, then starts popping open and won't stay closed. We returned the first one and got a second, which had the same problem so we returned the 2nd also.

Terrible machine. Mine leaked everywhere, the pieces don't really fit together fully, and it's incredibly big. The return process has been tedious and difficult which is different what GE advertises. Avoid.

DO NOT BUY! We were very excited to get this coffee maker. I purchased in November as Christmas gift and we installed it last weekend (Feb 28th'26). Within three brews the brew basket mechanism that allows coffee to flow to the pot was breaking and quickly got worse. There seems to be a defect. We asked for a refund but due to the dates we can only get a new unit shipped. Unless they fix this design flaw the same will happen as the plastic that protects the spring is clearly not strong enough to sustain even basic use. I love GE appliances and have them in other places, the fur slice toaster is sweet, but this coffee maker is a dud and way too expensive to not work.
