[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 Weiner dogs who were so picky they would eat a food once or twice then decide they didn't want it ever again. Then one day I noticed that true instinct had tons of dried meat chunks and a year later my dogs still love it. They Eben come paw at the food bin and make me feed them chunks of meat as treats I would highly suggest for regular and picky dogs because my dogs eat fresh chicken every night and they still enjoy true instinct just as much as there chicken.

My Black lab was a picky eater. Would pick out some parts of her old food and laythem on the floor. Would never eat the entire bowl. Now with Purina One. When she hears her food getting prepared she runs and stares at her bowl . Know its now chow time. No little morsels left behind now. Thanks Purina!! Dog has voted number one. :-)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog didn’t really eat dry food prior to during this product, but he absolutely loves the meaty bits and I do notice a difference in his coat. His bloating is gone. And he’s actually excited to eat these days.

PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS! My 14 y.o. dog got very sick, (runs, lethargy, labored breathing,) and wouldn't eat for days after 2 days of having this food. We thought it was just his age catching up to him, but then my 4 y.o. dog quit eating it too and had severe vomiting the 3rd day of serving this dog food. The "venision" pieces are like Styrofoam or packing peanut consistency. Almost synthetic looking. Please, don't risk it. Buy another dog food.

Since I got my boxer 3 years ago, I have little by little been trying different foods that will work best for her. I got her from a very bad home who left her extremely malnourished and mistreated. Slowly she started gaining more confidence in her surroundings and started learning how to be a dog. I noticed that the food I was giving her left her gassy, with diarrhea and she didn't seem to like it much. Little by little I would try other foods and so far a mix of this with the wet food has worked the best for her. I was hesitant at first but read great reviews, loved the ingredients and read it was highly recommend for her breed. Her gut has been so much better, she loves the taste and has filled out that skinny frame with muscle. She is so much happier, full of energy and happier

A few years ago we had an incident where we found maggots and these tiny white flies in our dogs food and we stopped buying this product well we decided to give it a try because before the big issue our dogs seemed to love it and it was cost efficient. Well what do ya know we ran into the problem again, and since we started our dogs back on it there allergies and skin irritations have came back. They are so sluggish and have gained so much weight. I am getting them off this food unfortunately I can’t do a transition because all the food I have has been compromised.

I'm pretty big on what I will feed my 2 husky I want them to be as healthy as they can be and also help their skin and fur, I even read the side of the bags double checking everything. We was feeding them Taste of wild and they ate it but not the way they eat yalls turkey & venison. You have won over my dogs and myself. Great job everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately the pieces of venison are too big for my chihuahuas. I tried Purina One Smart Blend Chicken and Rice and the chicken pieces were also too big. I'm disappointed, I have to cut the pieces with scissors. I can send a picture.

Great product! I have always fed Purina dogfood, but with my most recent addition to my home came a fussy eater. He never seemed interested in eating at all. I tried 3 different kinds of puppy food,but he just didn't seem to care for any of it, and was always thinner than I felt he should be. So when I made his transition from puppy chow to adult dogfood I decided that I would give this a try. Instantly my very picky little eater became a happy,hungry,excited about meal time dog. It was sure a welcome change. That was 3 years ago now,but his love for this food hasn't changed. He stays in perfect body condition, has a beautiful shiny soft coat, and is always excited about chow time! He is always energetic and playful. This is a top quality affordable dogfood!
