I normally feed a different type of purina, but petsmart was out, so I bought a bag of this to try. My one dog who refuses to eat dry kibble by itself devoured her whole bowl up immediately! I couldn’t believe it and thought it might just be because it was new, but here we are 2 weeks later and she’s still obsessed with it. She even gets excited when I bring the bowl now! I’m sooo happy I purchased this type/flavor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have gone through every single dog food imaginable and this is the one my dogs will eat every single time. They tend to be picky eaters, but they absolutely love the true instinct, turkey and venison.

We have 4 puppies ranging from 3lbs to 10(3 month's to a little over a year) and they all seem to love it especially the venison pieces are the first to go. They are happy and energetic. After my 5year old St. Bernard/Shepard mix became overweight, lethargic, anxious with hot spots, no desire to drink or eat on a regular basis, we decided to try a new food. I had a coupon for this brand of food, and this was the flavor I chose, as I didnt want chicken as a main protein. From the first bowl of incorporating the new food into his old food, he ate the whole bowl! The transition was easy and he finaly has so much spark back! He plays again, he got back to a healthy weight, with the help of some vet prescribed medications, his coat and hotspots are completely healed and healthy! I'm so glad we did this switch and I think my dog is too! The food has hard and soft bits, and I think that is a major plus!

I'm pretty big on what I will feed my 2 husky I want them to be as healthy as they can be and also help their skin and fur, I even read the side of the bags double checking everything. We was feeding them Taste of wild and they ate it but not the way they eat yalls turkey & venison. You have won over my dogs and myself. Great job everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Within a week of switching to this food, both my dogs stopped chewing on their paws, their coats became soft and full, and they seemed happier, and we no longer wondered if they were full. Before this food, my dog would act hungry after eating, Now he has energy ready to play, doesn't beg for more, and seems to be overall happier.

Right now, am taking care of two Australian Shepherds. They won't eat any kind of "wet" dog food. Both dogs are very old and VERY picky. Our Meijers store had a "perk" for a free 4# bag so I chose the venison/turkey flavors. Couldn't believe it - they each ate a whole bowl & were still looking for more! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] German Shepherd owner and used to feed Lamb & Rice to my former buddy (RIP Shane). So when we rescued Samantha, I went back to it. But then I tried True Instinct and she absolutley loves feeding time. She cannot wait and almost inhales this food, but keeps her weight in check. Plus no fillers so much less in her stools. She is much happier eating this formula

I am more than impressed! Miss Lulu is 2 1/2 and she's never liked any dog food. We've been through so many brands but she only liked 1 kind and the expense was completely ridiculous. I've had to make her food everyday so I took the Purina challenge. We use the dry Purina One True Instincts. I couldn't believe it. She eats every bite, every single time. Sometimes she pushes the bowl to me and talks like Chewbacca telling me she wants more. She's never been excited to eat! I was so worried was she getting what she needs, she had no energy.... We see a drastic difference between her excitement to eat and her energy level is a lot more than it was. Usually within 10-20 minutes of eating she starts bringing me her toys, she wants to play and run. So far we've tried 3 flavors and she loves them all. Thank you Purina! Miss Lulu appreciates you.
