I'm a Cain Corso so keeping that weight off the hips is a challenge. Vet says I'm okay so far at 122 lbs. Although a girl can't be too careful about loosing that sexy look and I draw a lot of attention because of how shiny and silky my glowing black coat looks. Mom knows better than to bring home anything else! I love, love, love the chicken flavor and what (if any) is left in my bowl after I get my stomach full, I share with the swans off my floating dock at the side yard. They pray every day that there is some left, so mom puts plenty in my bowl. If they have to come to the house begging, it is so scary 'cause they stand taller than me and hiss. It's important to be kind to the flying and hissing tidal birds around here. Beneful brings great pleasure (and safety) to my life. I bought the Healthy Weight formula upon the recommendation of our vet. The 1 1/2 year old dog was overweight. She has been eating this food for one month and looks like she is losing weight. She loves eating the food. I wish that it came in a larger bag and was sold by more stores.

I used this product for years with my older dog who past away. I now have a new dog who loves to eat. Her weight has been getting up there so I thought best to change her food to Beneful. Problem being over the years of not using the brand the price has gone up. So I started using another product similar to Beneful. Wrong choice my dog gained weight not lost any. In my mail I had a flier for Beneful with a coupon. I didn't hesitate to buy a bag of it. Now the bag has run out and I'm having to go back to another brand since the cost of Beneful is much higher than their competitor. If the company and store offered more coupons or even a point system much like box tops and coke reward points where the points could used to save money on a purchase of bagged dog food that would be awesome. I would love to keep using Beneful but as I said with the economy the way it is and my money not stretching the way I need it to I'm forced to use lower quality dog food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product is exactly what we expected. Our dog hears us bring a brand new bag in and he gets so excited. This is the only food thay doesn't make him sick. We mix wet food with it at dinner and he eats it right up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried different dry food on my dog, Chiquita. She would not eat any unless I added wet food which was, at that time, Alpo. Treats were any cheap treats I could find which she also devoured. Then I switched to Beneful Healthy Weight, dry. Chiquita gobbled up 1/2 cup right away; didn't wait for wet food to be added. I switched to Beneful wet which Chiquita also loved. She gets a total of 3/4 cup dry, one table spoon wet a day. I had hoped since she was eating all her food, she would not want treats. Wrong! So I decided to switch to Beneful Baked Delights, Snacks. Chiquita seems to be satisfied with half of one of these treats. All are a little more expensive, but if Chiquita eats it all, I think the cost is worth it.

We started with the healthy weight because one of our fur babies is now 11 years old and a little overweight we are trying to get her back in shape. When it comes to feeding time, you don’t want to get in their way, or in front of the dishes.
