They both have ferocious appetites so I try to give them something that is either weight management or low calorie. I love knowing that this food has real meat and vegetables in it as well as no artificial colors or flavors.

The kibble has a nice healthy color to it. I like that it has no artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors. The ingredients include Farm-Raised Chicken, green beans, and carrots. I'm happy to support farmers. It has a nice 25 grams of protein and 10 percent fewer calories than Purina Beneful Originals. My dog is getting older. I spoiled him a little so now it's time to try and watch his weight. I want the longest healthiest weight for one of the most important members of my home. I adopted a 12 year old obese Boston Terrier mix that waddled and had low enegy. We called her the breathing carpet. 2 months later, with careful diet and slowly increasing exercise, she has lost over 3 lbs. and has enormous energy. I have strictly followed the Beneful Healthy Weight diet regime to get to this point. In another week I will increase her to the maintenance amount. This is a great product and has done wonders for my "Duckie". I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Your Purina DRY dog food was the quintessential dog food for my Golden Retriever Sandi, Sandra Cheyenne Winchester Spratley until she passed away at 14 years of age. I now have another Golden retriever, Bella, who also enjoys Purina DRY dog food. Dont get me wrong, we definitely add some great fixins into the Beneful dog food. if we have salmon or broccoli etc. she gets her share, and rightfully so. In the past and I emphasize in the past we have tried many "very ECo, nutritional, pure, foods for dogs BUT my girls have and do love Beneful dry dog food. Thanks Purina for helping to make my dogs life more special.
