[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Pharaohs Hound is so happy and excited to nibble up the bite-sized morsels of the Purina Healthy Weight Dry Dog Food. The kibble has a nice healthy color to it. I like that it has no artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors. The ingredients include Farm-Raised Chicken, green beans, and carrots. I'm happy to support farmers. It has a nice 25 grams of protein and 10 percent fewer calories than Purina Beneful Originals. My dog is getting older. I spoiled him a little so now it's time to try and watch his weight. I want the longest healthiest weight for one of the most important members of my home. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.

My Lab-Chow mix Bella wants you to know that she has been fed only Beneful dry dog food (and of course some table-scraps) since she came to live with us in 2006 as a 2 month old puppy. She has been eating Healthy Weight for about the last 5 years. She is aging well and still has little puppy left in there. Plus it's not as expensive as some of the other weight management foods on the market. With my dogs it is a hit and miss type deal with them. Some days they will eat all of their food and others they graze

I noticed as Lennon was getting older she was putting on more weight (as most of us women do lol). I started her on Beneful Healthy Weight and noticed she was shedding some pounds. She's more active nod and not such a "couch potato" and she seems to a lot happier. Maybe I should look into Beneful for humans LOL

We tried 2 other brands that she didn’t seem too interested in. Then we tried Benefuls and she loved it! She gets excited when she sees the bag. We even use it as treats because she likes it so much. We on the other hand like the quality ingredients and price. We give her a combination of the Benefuls wet and dry food. Our vet says her weight is perfect!
