When i first adopted my fur baby he was EXTREMELY SKINNY and wanted to eat EVERYTHING he saw. After having him for a few months he became more secure and a very picky eater! Ive tried many different brands of dog food. Some he would not touch and some he ate but you could tell it wasn’t his favorite. Except for Beneful. It’s the only brand I will buy him now. I just wish there were more coupons for Beneful since my skinny 3 month old puppy is now a beautiful healthy 60lb pit mix dog. I would definitely recommend this product

My youngest dog Nina has never ate any other kind of dog food in her life. She was started out on Beneful healthy weight puppy dog food and then switched over to the adult food later.

Our mom always buys us Beneful. The last time she bought dog food, Beneful was not in stock, so she bought another brand. We ate the other brand, just because we didn't want to hurt Mom's feelings. She could tell we didn't really care for the replacement, so she bought us more Beneful as soon as the store re-stocked. When we realized that our bowls were filled, not with the dried-up toilet paper we had been eating, but rather with the delightful flavor of Beneful, our eyes lit up and we devoured it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will be 13 in January 2024 and I have been eating Beneful puppy and Beneful Healthy Weight Chicken all my life. I have a cup in the morning and a cup at night. Along with with the dry food I get half a container of Beneful wet food with each meal. I like the wet salmon the best. I get so excited when I see a new bag of food come in the house and I like to go through the grocery bags to see if I got more wet food. I am very healthy and my doctor or vet says I am doing great for my age. I may not run and play all day now but I do have my active spurts through the day and I still like to go for my walks. But my two favorite times of the day are breakfast and dinner. My pup loves this food and we were lucky to find a dog food that she enjoys everyday and looks forward to her meals. She must eat by the clock since she knows when it is 7:30am and 4:30pm everyday. If the meal is not ready she will voice her opinion or hit you with her paw. As soon as she eats she is then perfectly content again. Thank you Purina for making this food that has made her life healthy and long. However, since the nutrients are outside of the optimal small animal clinical nutrition guidelines for their individual health, they will be fed another diet.

With the proper introduction (gradually reducing 'old' brand and gradually introducing Beneful Healthy Weight), they seem to have more spunk and also seem to be less hungry.

I had 4 litters of puppies that preferred Beneful puppy blended and softened with water than the expensive brands. I use the weight control for my dogs because as active as they are, I hand out lots of treats for wanted behaviors. This picture is just them waiting for me to come up from the basement, true Velcro dogs. I’m very happy with Beneful, the nutrients, the availability in the stores when traveling and the price.
