I'm researching this dog food currently due to the lawsuits that have. Even filed. We had a purebred golden retriever who was the love of ours and 3 children's lives. Unfortunately she went into kidney failure at just 3 years old and we had to put her down. Beneful was the only dog food she ever ate and I'm starting to realize this may have been the cause.

I always used beneful ever since my dog was a puppy. Because of bad publicity, we tried another brand. My dog became lethargic and slow, we went to the vet, blood test is fine, and he recommend to return to his usual diet....Beneful..Now, my dog is happy and active again.....thanks beneful

He would beg for treats until end of day then would eat it last. Good for watching his weight. Eat it or starve. Lol

However, when I opened the bag of dog food there were huge chunks of food clumped together that seem burnt and have mold covering it. It looks very unpleasant. I want to feel comfortable providing my dogs with food that isn't spoiled and is safe. This is my first time using this brand and I can say I won't be using it again.

But no use the Healthy Weight option. My little guy loves it and cannot wait until it is in his bowl. He is one happy little fella! I am glad that I can feed him something that is good for him too.

Even the pickey eaters eat up the full serving when I serve them Beneful healthy weight. I love that after many years of purchasing Purina Beneful, the recipe seams to be the same with the consistent quality as usual.

I knew he needed a higher fiber over regular food. So I tried HW formula. Not only does he love it, nice shiny soft coat, great skin, fantastic stools, no gland issues. He needed lose a couple of pounds and that he has done. Keeping him on the food to keep him from having gland issues . Highly recommend Beneful. The ingredients are great also! Very happy dog & owner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried my dog wouldn't like it because he can tend to be picky but he loves it and gobbles it right up! It hasn't caused any stomach issues at all so that's a big plus. His skin and coat looks really good as well.

She really looks forward to meal time and I like that this dog food helps keep her at the proper weight so she is healthy and active. Great dog food that is definitely worth getting.

I have been buying this product for years for an 80lb lab and a 60lb mutt. It has been great up until the last 6 months. Nothing has changed in my home or with their food and in the last 6 months they have developed itchy skin horribly. The last 2 weeks I have decreased the amount of dry food and supplemented with natural food and they are not itching as badly.
