I can't say Finnigan knows it is healthy weight, but I know it! He just scarfs it up, and his brother, who really doesn't. need healthy weight food, loves it as well.

My vet finally suggested Beneful Healthy Weight and my yorkie has been eating it without problems for a few years now.

Our Fox Red is a hard worker who needs to stay busy while our Black one is laid back. They're both very different girls but share their love of Beneful Healthy Weight. Being "grazers", we can leave their bowls out all day. Between them they eat about eleven cups a day and carry a "healthy weight" of about seventy pounds each. Our Vet loves how healthy both are at seven years old. Prior to 2001, when the original beef Beneful was introduced, we fed our Labs Purina Dog Chow. Our previous girls all did fine with that, but we liked both the idea of an upgrade by a brand we trusted and the recipe it used. We migrated to Healthy Weight when it came out. After twenty plus years of enjoying the benefits our dogs enjoy from Beneful products we heartily recommend it to all.

What I like about this product is that I know that I am giving my dogs the nutrition that they need while also giving them the taste they love. Farm raised chicken is the number one ingredient and the other ingredients are ones that I can actually pronounce such as; reals apples, green beans, and carrots. Plus it's not as expensive as some of the other weight management foods on the market. With my dogs it is a hit and miss type deal with them. Some days they will eat all of their food and others they graze

We can tell the difference and the dog can taste the difference! Past couple months we have been on a budget and bought dog food that was cheaper! Our dog princess gained a few pounds that's for sure and she absolutely hated the cheaper brands we bought. Kinda funny when she saw me bring in the bag of beniful healthy weight she got excited either she can read or she smelled her favorite food!
