Obtuse requests for non-existent income. It gets locked it a loop and won't let me transmit my return. I guess I will just have to mail it in. Something about royalty income that i do not have.

Good way to fill out State tax return forms, but ability to E-File the State return is broken within the program. It will not accept E-File fee amount.

Why is turotax update putting The state of Louisiana on my system? I live in California and have NO returns for Louisiana. Please inform how to to fix this.

Twice during this filing period, I had to do manual updates because the auto-update process failed. I find this interesting because I deliberately install the program in a non-windows system folder so I won't run into file protection issues.

there is a bug in the software. I could not e-file - it complains that my software needs an update, but it does not update automatically, nor by pressing "options" key as instructed online

Unfortunately, TurboTax has gotten harder to use. I continue because it is familiar. If next year's continues to degrade, I probably will look elsewhere. In addition, TurboTax does not proved an address for me to send 1099R forms to PA

I have been unable to file electronically due to my dad passing away and the SS number shows for a deceased person. Obviously, he has passed, why not allow this to go thru? Only solution is to file by mail, which delays the return.

It did the basics but required me to find and manually enter 2023 data (e.g. carryover) even though I filed with TT last year. Cumbersome user interface when adding information after a first pass & when paying for state & efile.

You must give an option not to file electronically with the state return. Every year I have to fight to find a way to send it in without filing electronically. YOU NEED TO FIX THIS!

It makes comments in some places where it does not have the form and you have to go off site and print it out; makes for confusing filing. Also, does not give you options on printing out State Return in e summary form
