Some forms are generated automatically. Turbo tax asked questions about those forms, but I was unable to answer the questions because I was unfamiliar with those forms.

Reviewing the 1099s were a pain since there was no account number listed until I clicked and opened each box. I have multiple accounts with each of my banks / brokerages.

Turbo Tax is very easy to use and does all the work for you. As long as you enter the tax data correctly, your return will be filed accurately. Your return will have the necessary forms to comply with the IRS filing too.

A 20+ year user of TT. The redesign made working through TT mush harder than in past years. The INT/DIV section caused me no end of difficulty. Please return to the previous design. Otherwise it was up to TT standards.

Turbo Tax, as usual, was extremely helpful in getting me focused on what I had to do to complete my Federal and State income tax returns. Keep up very fine work you do. Your online assistant was also a great help too. Hats off to her.

We've been using the program for quite a few years now, its gets easier with every year, the directions and guidance are straight forward and easy to understand!

Upsell service (premium service ???) without fully disclose the reasons nor allow user to remove it ? So we called customer service and learnt lots of folks complained. This is unacceptable business practices.

I have been using Turbo Tax to do my taxes for almost 40 years. In all those years, I have never incurred a problem with the IRS and am comfortable that I am using the best tax prep program available.

1. It does not import the tax forms, such as 1099-X, from our financial firms. 2. For our case, we had trouble to find where to report the selling rental house income, and where to report house improvement cost for selling rental house.

Some things could be easier, especially when you pay so much for a software, but still have trouble to figure out where to put certain information (HSA, Healthcare.gov info, etc.) and have to look it up on Google. A bit overpriced tbh
