There are areas that are really confusing the way TT has them set up. I used AI support to make sense out of most of the process, taking screenshots and asking what to do. Specifically with regard to identifying investment income for OK. Having to edit every single one just to continue is such a waste of time. You need to recognize VARIOUS as an entry for date sold. This review is really awkward and poorly constructed!

I've been using TurboTax for many years. I find, for my taxes, the accuracy of the calculations to be outstanding and the dropdown boxes that contain succinct descriptions of the tax code extremely helpful. However, this year some of the program changes for inputting information was a bit confusing until I understood what the program was trying to do. Also, the program crashed no less than five times! At first, I thought it was because my security software was scanning my computer when I first started but even after this was completed, the application crashed on several occasions. Other than those issues, the software worked fine and I was able to complete my taxes way ahead of schedule this year.

Desktop version doesn't have a good flow. It would be OK if it marked everything that you reviewed as reviewed like the web version, but if you don't actually enter data for a topic, it looks as though you didn't look at it, so it just makes it very difficult to see what sections you've finished reviewing. makes it very hard to double-check what you still need to look at.

Everything was great with a few challenges: 1) Make the online version more like the desktop version such as allowing you to bounce back and forth between forms and step by step mode. the online version never asked me for the estimated tax payments I made so I switched back to the desktop version.

Great experience as the program is very user friendly and walks you through the various sections of the tax return process. I have been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years, and I really love this product. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to file their own tax returns.

The 2025 version of Turbo Tax was the buggiest version I have ever used. It was a good thing I have been a loyal user for over a decade because I know when it skipping something so I was able to click around and find the spot to enter the information I needed to enter. I didn't like that it needed windows 11 if that is a requirement I will be going with a different software. I've used Turbo Tax for almost 20 years but this might be the last year. I will not be recommending Turbo tax to any one this year.

My TurboTax experience I rate as Excellent both in product and the expert advice I received in reviewing my federal and state tax returns prior to their submission. From a product perspective, the TurboTax software interface helped guide me through step by step input of information and provided automated reviews throughout the process. At several times, the software caught mistakes and provided me the opportunity to correct them immediately. I also opted to have a review session with an Intuit Tax Expert which I was very thankful for based upon the knowledge and professional advice I received resulting in a rest assured confidence that I was getting my maximum cost savings with highly accurate tax returns. Finally, both Intuit software and tax expert help were completely compatible with my existing home systems, work schedule, and work style. I give my highest recommendation for Intuit for tax preparation, review, and smooth submission.

Honestly It was just the worst to use. I am a student and I have scholarships that I got, I filed in two states, and there was just so many ways this could've been easier. you enter one thing and you see you tax return go from refund 1000 dollars to ow 300 and you are just confused as to what went wrong because what you entered was a scholarship amount, and then 30 minutes later it asks you if the thing you entered was a scholarship and was supposed to be included and then it jumps back to 1000 dollar refund. I hate turbotax

I find TurboTax Premier very difficult to use. I choose to input forms manually vs importing information. I like to have control over my inputs. It is very difficult to navigate where to input forms and the step by step is no help. Additionally, my 1099's from my brokerage accounts have DIV, INT and B all on the same document. You have to input them in 3 different places in TurboTax, not 1 form with all 3 different inputs.

I've been using TurboTax for decades. A couple of things * Form 1116 handling. There should be better help for this in the app. In particular, and explanation of "Various" and "RIC". Once you decide I need to work with foreign investments, you should brief me on what to do with Form 1116. It's a bit of a black hole now. It's the reason why I shell out for the "Premium" version * On-line submission failures You keep telling me that the problem is with my AGI number from last year (even though you filled it in, and even though it's the same number for both of us (but you say only one is wrong). I've mailed in the return, but in retrospect, I'm pretty sure it's the PIN. You should guide me to getting new pins. * This form (in particular, this field on this form) You seem to be continually parsing the contents of this field to update "AI-Generated Review Topics". When you decide to update the "Topics", focus leaves this form momentarily and you occasionally miss what I'm typing (or worse - moves focus to the end of the field as I type). It is *very* frustrating. Did you not test this feature?
