Clunky for foreign tax credits & reporting foreign bank accounts ... follows the terribly designed government forms instead of gathering the information in a sensible way. Charges $25 to e-file state taxes (rip-off)

I skipped Turbo Tax last year, but am back now. Always easy to work my way through. I used the Live Tax Advice service to reassure myself on a couple of questions, and the Tax Expert was wonderful.

If I did not have to provide at the end when submitting my taxes, three different Payer's ID numbers and Employer ID number. Which should have been asked for at the time of entry. I would have given 5 stars.

The turbotax product is good. Makes it easy to file your returns. Disappointed that i can only file 5 returns. I file my 5 children and my own. Should be at least 10. I am not a professional tax preparer.

Generally Turbo Tax was fine. However, as iin past years, , some questions were a little confusing, and I found very little assistance in the software on how to figure my Required Minimum Distribution, having turned 73 tears of age in 2024.

too much repetition of info already in system. also, infuriating to go through the deductions and find that you will get the standard deduction. list the standard deduction up front and tell you not to bother if your deductions are lower.

1st complaint could not pull up my last years turbo tax. 2nd complaint entered my bank account and my and spouse's driver's license closed app when i reopened it all that info was gone

When things get complicated with financial advisor firms, TT allows downloading from the brokerages directly ... which makes the price of TT worth while.

It went pretty well. It did get into a do loop when downloading from Morgan Stanley. I spent hours on it. Some data was not there so i deleted the data manually, but the app keep saving the old data. It's a bit clunky and not always intuitive.

Not as good as it has been in the past, especially when downloading and accessing tax forms and info from investment firms, ie, E-Trade. I have used Turbo Tax for the last 10 years, and I will probably switch to another company next year.
