My main issue is how you changed downloading information from brokerage houses and interest sources. this used to be simple but now it took me to a screen that did not have enough information on it to determine what was needed. You need to understand that someone may get 3 or more forms from the same investment company. I'd be happy to talk with you on this. I started with Macintax in the 80's and then your product. I have been using TurboTax for 30 years and have always found it very accurate and helpful. I very much like the options to step through every topic, those have helped me find additional entries that I would haveentries that I would have missedentries that I would have missed onentries that I would have missed on my ownentries that I would have missed on my own. However, this year I had the State version and found that it is much more difficult to use. If I had to go back to the Federal section to check something when I returned to the State section, I had to start all over again to step through the questions and click buttons to answer yes or no just to get back to where I had left off. It would be very helpful if the State section had different tabs like tthe Federal "Wages & Income" or "Deductions & Credits" etc.

The updates are provided, on average, about a month after I actually needed them - VERY slow in providing a complete, ready to go product. Interface is EXTREMELY clunky, requires WAY more mouse clicks to do what you need to do, and whomever decided to NOT provide the "opt out" of auto-importing documents should be tar/feathered.

The only real problem for me was trying to get back to my original IRA distributions and withholding tax information. I was off on something but I don't think I was ever able to back track to verify the numbers. I was never completely positive the final Turbo Tax tax calculation was accurate.

I have used TT for 20 years and am comfortable that the return is accurate and complete. I have. only two issues, 1. The initial downloading and finding the form and setting uo with last years data etc. is always a hassle. Probably operator error, but still a problem. 2. The availability of support is a problem. Excellent help, but hours of hassle again to get to a real person. Even paying the $50 for special service did not eliminate two calls of each over an hour to reach help.

Program is no longer intuitive to use. Several issues again this year. Your daily program updates give me zero confidence in Turbo Tax being well designed tax prep software. I like to download the software rather than use the online version so I see the daily updates. For this same reason I feel the same about the online and assisted offers you have.

I am very disappointed with this year's Turbo Tax. It took until March to correct one of the forms. It is getting more expensive as well. This year also had a bunch of weird and, it seems, unnecessary questions. You are making it hard to continue purchasing your product.

I've used Turbo Tax for years so maybe I'm just getting old, but I feel it's just getting more confusing. Costs were very confusing when starting out online. So I bailed and got the desktop version. But then it was still pushing the online version. (I like looking at the forms to see where the numbers are going and I couldn't see that as an option online.) I really wish there was an way to streamline checking if we have enough deductibles with the new higher limit instead of spending all the time needed to enter it all in just to find we are way short. Also, after all this time why can't the state be more like the federal's question and answer? I don't think the program helps much with state taxes unless you know a lot about it already.

It is more important than ever to check every line of your forms and understand what and if bad calculations were added. Intuit won't be paying your interest and penalties when they screw up. And they seem to do that more and more in unexplainable ways. If I didn't have years of taxes done in this format, I don't know if I would keep using it. At some point it probably makes more sense to just outsource this.

I like accuracy. It is compatible with my desktop version. I like the features where I can go back double check if there is any errors. The program links with the my financial institute and gets the forms if I have missed any. I did not have to us h support services at all.
