Problem: I have downloaded TurboTax. it is open and have progressed a bit. I am now at the point of needing to connect to my investments in Fidelity. I entered my log in and my password. TurboTax did connect with Fidelity. Then next step was a verification step where TurboTax asked me to click on the icon/word "Allow". I did that but nothing happened. It looks like the icon/word is simply nonfunctional. The "Allow" button (or similar verification step in the browser pop-up) often appears non-functional because of modern browser security restrictions around local network access. TurboTax uses a browser-based OAuth flow to connect to Fidelity, and recent updates in Chrome, Edge, and other browsers block the desktop app from receiving the data unless you explicitly grant permission. Turbo Tax should describe the necessary fix. Also, big problem: A person purchased TurboTax for 2025. the person, when asked to prepare the tax online or on their computer the person said online. After filling out all the necessary information the person attempted to print the return. turbo tax said the person must pay $200 ? There should be a warning when a person selects “online” that they will be subject to a large unexpected fee. Especially when they already purchased the program at a local store. Would save the customer much pain and $$$'s.

Did not care for the online download. Previously I used a CD for many years and never had problems. Took several attempts to get it downloaded. Then it was not able to import my documents from Ameriprise. System would say it had the information but when I proceeded I always got an error message so I had to manually enter all the info, taking hours longer than previous versions.

One thing didn't work this time...every time I tried the security options for the PDF file, it did not work. It only saved the "untitled" (instead of what I tried to name it and did not have it password protected. Instead, I had to do it on my own computer after downloaded from TT. That didn't used to happen in previous year.

Collecting documents is the hardest part. The 'walk me through' assistance was most helpful and guided me to feel confident that all my data was entered or transferred to my return, saving me a lot of stress not having to manually fill in all those items.

Questions asked to make it easy to complete tax return. Various Help options are always available for unique situations. I import from Quicken which sometimes duplicates data like charitable contributions, which is easily rectified. I have been using Turbo tax Premier for many years. Never had an issue with Federal returns.

I have always loved TurboTax and have never had an issue until this year. For some reason it did not update my TurboTax when I opened it to do my taxes. For this reason, it got stuck on transmitting my returns. TurboTax wanted to charge me a fee to help with this issue. I finally just shut down my computer and when it came backup, it finally update my TurboTax and let me transmit my return. Other than that, Love It!

I engaged the support team twice this year due to problems I was having getting rid of errors related to a Ponzi scheme. They worked very closely with me to help isolate the problem until I was able to discover the problem myself. But they al least were able to get me to the right area. I've used Turbo Tax every year since 2007 or possibly earlier. There hasn't been a single tax computation I haven't been able to resolve. I've sold houses, had small businesses, losses from Ponzi schemes, stock options, had to recharacterize IRA transactions, you name it. Turbo tax is one of the easiest tax programs to use. I used to follow their interview process to do my taxes, but I've become so familiar with their format that i now just jump right into each section I need to work on. If you haven't tried it yet, you nee o give it a try. I think you'll be pleasantry surprised.

Edward was awesome! He was very helpful and thorough. He was polite and spent time to review the situation and help us through the process. It was nice to be able to have a good experience with someone who was knowledgeable and professional. You should hire more people like Edward!

K1 filings need to be much improved. It is difficult to map the data between the K1's and the Turbotax fields as the K!'s do not use consistent formats nor descriptions. It is also difficult to do the Carryovers an QBI's for K1 investments. This has been a poorly designed area of Turbotax for many years now. Please spend some more time on the K1's. Can this be implemented where the user can scan the K1's and Turobox Tax will map the data automatically into the correct fields?

I have used TT for 20 years and am comfortable that the return is accurate and complete. I have. only two issues, 1. The initial downloading and finding the form and setting uo with last years data etc. is always a hassle. Probably operator error, but still a problem. 2. The availability of support is a problem. Excellent help, but hours of hassle again to get to a real person. Even paying the $50 for special service did not eliminate two calls of each over an hour to reach help.
