Mostly smooth. Got hung up when starting my NYS return. After downloading NY State software, I got stuck in a loop and couldn't proceed. I shutdown TurboTax and was OK after I restarted it.

Had difficulty getting into Turbo. Had to call two different numbers. Washington doesn't have an income tax but it required I address a income tax credit on Washington State return. I "skipped" the Washington State tax return.

Everything was even easier than last year. No issues with the program and thanks to the tech support I was able to download my TurboTax Premier on to my now 12 year old laptop and have it work perfectly.

Somehow I was given a 5429 and went through a mess trying to get rid of it. I think it had something to do with my RMD withdrawal being larger than my RMD required.

I always have to call for help. The representative had a beautiful speaking voice, helped me get started in a jiffy. I chose the option WALK ME THROUGH EVERY THING. It worked best for me.

All entries handled satisfactory except Mineral rights Bonus payment. Bonus payment should be processes with other royalty. Software currently handles mineral rights bonus payments as rental property.

Quite easy to use. The Foreign tax credit could be made a lot easier. Not user friendly. Difficult to understand the data. Could include more detailed info. Should include forms like Form 3520. More help with Form 1116 etc.

Difficulty with Microsoft NET Updates on Windows 10 & Windows 11. Unable to complete on Windows 10 so used a Windows 11 machine, installed a Digital Copy to it, then completed the return.

The questions are simple to understand, and it takes little effort to complete the worksheets. I've been using Turbo Tax for over 30 years. I trust the company and the advice from the community forums.
