Good overall, but doesn't support Form 8833 you can't easily claim a Foreign Tax Credit if you're also taxed in a tax treaty country like Italy. Therefore, it's not possible to file online from abroad if you're living in one of these countries.

Turbo tax gets worse every year. Seems as if the company is trying to force me to pay extra for an upgrade. This used to be a great product. It has become frustrating.

I use TurboTax for many years now, and it has always been a very helpful software as well as a source of information for issues I needed to learn more about.

Usually turbo tax is spot on, but it failed miserably this year to properly account for my 529 contributions that earn a state tax deduction. I had to manually adjust the state tax form to receive the tax deduction for 529 contributions

So easy to use, all the questions are asked and follow up info is accessible. Step by step instructions are easy to follow and any questions or missed info they let you know. Once done, filing is free and easy, couldn't ask for anything easier.

Many areas of this program are frustrating and not user friendly. Especially for people familiar with the tax code. Too much selling in the program and the tendency to force people to purchase additional services.

TurboTax identified an error with the Virginia State Schedule CR but did not allow me to make the corrections without the help of your specialist Martina who did a fabulous job

Prior year was easier to use, do not like the dividends/interest back-and-forth screens esp for importing data. Online STATE e-file is free, but $25 here? :(

Software is great , but would suggest you make the foreign tax worksheet ( specifically when you have multiple countries to report) so you can report all on one page so you can view all in one spot

Too much marketing imbedded in your product. I've used Turbo Tax for over 20 years and every year it gets worse.I'm getting tired of it. Is it time to use a different product? Maybe.
