Very frustrating to have to call to get credit for free state return when actually preparing return the software asks if it should apply "Free" return. Grrrr:

The app is beyond usable in terms of UX elements. 1. There is no DARK mode 2. The fonts are so miniscule - there needs to be setting to change to user preferences Some topics may need more directions

Simple to use, to the point, go at your own pace. I appreciate being able to pull previous years data. I like the software that allows me to play with different cases.

I have used TurboTax for many years and have absolutely no complaints. Had my return reviewed by a professional and was advised that no changes were required or advantageous.

It generally went pretty well this year. I'm not that happy to be paying for my TurboTax in November, but being to enter most of the important information like 1099-Rs until January.

Didn't like how the dividends, interest, and capital gains were displayed this year. An account that all three was shown three different times. The Virginia state tax software is a little clunky and unclear

Agents by phone were very helpful. Turbo has options to select different software versions and Premium is better as the audit is free along with free filing of Federal taxes.

I did taxes for several years with AARP as a volunteer, so I went through training for that. I've always done my taxes myself. TurboTax makes the process much easier.

Chose not to purchase audit defense yet when it came time to file there was a 45.00 charge ... with no explanation. Seems sketchy. They have made things much easier related to ESPP and RSUs though.

I like using TurboTax because his self-explanatory not having to need the need for somebody else to tell you how to do it, as long as it's still easy to use I will continue using TurboTax for the next years to come
