Very easy to work with the software. Only issue I experienced was at the end. When I entered the banking information, I thought it would go into both the federal and state returns. Found that it must be entered separately into the Direct Deposit area of each return.

I'd like to see the federal return, line by line, as I answer questions. The state return(PA) was very glitchy. It would only display the final result and tell me I could go back ad edit, but it wouldn't let me go back. Frustrating. Probably won't use it next year.

Frustated on several fronts. RMD calculation after every IRA distribution is misleading and difficult to work around This took me hours to resolve. No ability to fix spelling errors on names of financial institutions without deleting everything and having to start over I have used TurboTax exclusively for many years with minimal problems. This year was disappointing and frustrating. Though I was finally able to complete my taxes and file, the process did not run smoothly as in the past. See the list below: Difficulty getting updates to Mac software when not using online system resulting in inability to file in a timely manner. Had to search online to find the right answer Unable to go backwards from some pages, resulting in starting at the beginning again It's Deductible screen so small that full listing item not visible and when selected an item, sometimes to took and sometimes it did not. System was unbelievably slow When using print function, TurboTax does not communicate with my wireless printer. Have no idea where it is printing.

I use the premier program because I have royalties, and you change the program every year. It is so aggravating. Also, you advertise one free State, but you charge for the filing. It's always been free filing for the first State, but now you're going to charge. I've always used TurboTax, but I may have to try a different program next year.

My experience has always been excellent. However, this year's software made it difficult to impossible to print forms that I wanted. It always asked me to use a "chainlink" which I had no idea of what it was. Previous years' programs have been very easy, not 2024. However, l do plan to use it next year I did purchase the $60 live consultation which was excellent. Highly recommended. However, the software kept asking me to purchase it, as if I had not

All menus are not intuitive. You can no longer file an E-Extension using Turbo Tax Premier, you must go to the FREE online version. Separate options should be made for Federal and State Filing for mail. Extra States should be discounted more, especially for the higher versions of Turbo Tax like Premier

First the Mac version does not seem as user friendly. I spent 30 minutes trying to enter my Property Taxes in the Federal section. Gave up and later found the file in the State section, A note in the Federal section indicating its possible location in the State section would have been a major help. Seems like in the past, I could go to the forms section and complete filling in missed entries as the editable boxes were highlighted. I might have been dreaming. Burt would be a nice feature.

User since early 1990's. This year very disappointed with the changes in the 1099-div, 1099-int, 1099-B. Very inefficient to enter and kee trackp. See many many disappointing comments and posts on the subject. I would prefer an improved work flow for entering 1099-cons at once with a table like view. TurboTax software had a file save issue again this year. Software needs to be 'run as administrator' when right clicking the TT icon in order to save it. A call to the 800 number walked through this, but woukld be good if they would do 2 things. One eliminate the run as admin issue, and two, allow the software to be loaded and run off an external hard drive. The hard drive load issue is same issue I had in 2023.

I have been doing Turbo Tax for years and years and I have a love/hate relationship with it. My main issue is the errors that pop up during the review. There is no help in resolving them. I enter the information and TT decides where to put in on the forms. It can be something very simple, yet comes up as an error. Also sometimes TT rounds off the cents and sometimes it doesn't. hence this year my RMD had the .13 and sometimes it didn't show it and sometimes it did.
