you asked me to update my password but don't allow me to right-click to "suggest a strong password" you know my log-in but still ask me to re-enter all of my personal information. (why) can't you pre-populate it? why does it show the "begin" screen, a second time? I don't know if I'm supposed to press "Begin" AGAIN! or if I should press "Continue From Turbo Tax Online." And what does that mean, anyway, "Continue?" Continue? That implies that I've already started or something. But I just purchased it and installed it, so how can I "continue" if this is the first time that I'm running it? And it implies that I've used TT ONLINE? Have I? Online? I didn't know or realize that, if it's referring to 2023. So, I chose "Begin" and it repeated one or two screens from before and now I see "Transfer Complete" I can't find a way to go BACK. I'm on "Let's finish pulling in your investments" but I want to go to the previous page but I do not see a back or previous (or similar) button Why doesn't Capital One - one of the largest banks on Earth - appear in the list of banks How in the world did my gross distribution on Box 1 get set to $792,471.00? I entered 18,015.30 Typo: Taxpayer's Health Care Coverage. does Not have ... why is the N capitalized? Upon trying to file the return, I got an error message that the second line of the address (apartment number) has invalid characters. Apparently, TT doesn't care for the Arabic numerals 1128. First, it says that I have to enter my apartment number. So, I did. Then, it says that 1128 are invalid characters and that it must be removed prior to filing. Really? That makes sense. Not. unbelievable ... I entered all kinds of information (specifically, pre-paid taxes) and NONE of it was saved. Upon exiting, the app did NOT ask me if I wanted to save my file. Is that because I was in the Forms view? BUG!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wasting my time ...

Everything was fairly easy but did not like the way you changed the dividend company input screens. Very confusing without the one-page text showing all companies with amounts on one line. The company boxes on one page with input links in the boxes was confusing to know if everything was complete. The single page with last year and this with an edit button for current year was much better. please consider changing back to the single page with text only.

This was the poorest experience I've had using TT for over 40 years. As I entered data and looked at my tax calculations, I was very NOT CONFIDENT. The reason is that the data on the display was not updating properly. It turns out that the tax calculation was correct ....I compared to a professional sftwr package....so it was basically a display issue that caused confusion. Intuit programmers need to carefully comb thru your code to insure that DEDUCTIONS are properly displayed ...ie, prior year and current year. Specifically, check your write statements for CASUALTY and LOSS deductions.

Extremely disappointed with Sam's Club. Unlike their competitors that send download link immediately after the purchase, I am waiting for the download link way after the order went through - and nothing. Sam's Club customers service advice - contact Turbotax directly. Unacceptable...

I think the software is really good but on some of the error message are so vague it does not give me enough information to resolve. It takes a lot of research to find the issue. I would like to see the error message to point the issues more directly.

Not keeping up with the times. The inability to cut and paste passwords for importing documents from other sites is not acceptable. I'll be moving to different software next year if this is not corrected. Most aware people are using password managers with 16+ character unique passwords for every site. With multiple banks, investment accounts, etc., manually typing them in is ridiculous and prone to keylogging. The rest of the experience is fine. Nothing great but nothing has really changed.

The section dealing with health insurance, especially if you're retired, needs to have more helpful details and added descriptions for high deductible vs regular deductible plans and forms received, along with keeping the nomenclature the same. There should be 'running score' of the taxes owed as you progress through the return. (There used to be years ago)

Adequate, and accomplishes my purpose in filing both Federal and State tax returns. Some of the instructions are not as obvious, or user intuitive. For example, it would have been helpful to explain up front and more obviously that entering each 1099-B sales individually would alleviate the need to manually print and send those items via snail mail after a return has been filed electronically.

Biggest complaint is I should be able to click on last years info and see detailed info. That way I can properly compare this years info to last years section by section. Would make reviewing much easier than having to go find my paper copies or reinstall last years turbo tax.

In using the "Review" tool, some of your error descriptions did not make it clear which particular entry was the problem and there was no link to the problematic entries. On those errors where there was insufficient detail, I had to spend time redoing the entire section, which then took care of each of those error problems.
