I have used Turbo Tax for the last 10+ years. However, this product is becoming expensive compared to other alternatives. I don't like Turbo Taxes charges for each state return filing separately. I would rather pay a little more for state return with unlimited state files. There is no way it should cost $25 per state filing when so many other services do not charge for this. Turbo Tax is a great product, but no longer King and becoming too expensive.

I did not like the change to the way you import information from a financial institution. If they added information and you had to import from the same institution again, you had to import all of it and you lost the original information you entered. This caused me to have to amend my return because I didn't get all of the information in.

I have used TurboTax for several years but this year I had a greater difficulty in understanding some of the questions, so I hope I have answered correctly. I also completed a tax return for my mother-in-law as I have done for several years. This time it was rejected twice. It was rejected because my father-in-law's S/S showed that he was deceased, which he was in Jan 2024. TurboTax did not point this out such that the tax retunes would be accepted.

GREAT FULL COMPLEMENT OF STATE FORMS, EVEN NON-RESIDENT FORMS. I DID TAXES BY HAND UNTIL MY WIFE INSISTED I DO IT BY TURBO TAX. I AGREED ONLY IF I COULD CHECK THAT TURBO TAX WAS RIGHT BY DOING IT MANUALLY AS WELL. TO MY EMBARASSMENT, TURBO TAX FOUND AN ERROR THAT I MADE. THAT WAS TEN YEARS AGO. I WILL NEVER SWITCH. I BELIEVE!

When uploading all of my official tax documents (which is quite helpful) -- many numbers were incorrect, and multiple fields were left blank that were NOT blank on the official forms. Additionally, my AGI (line 11) was uploaded as over 1 million dollars. (1,159,000). Evidently, in translation, the 11, from "Line 11" was superimposed in my AGI field. This is an inconceivable error that could have caused me massive grief and trouble had I not caught it. The upload feature would be nice if it wasn't such a risk with all of the errors and information that was misplaced during the upload/translation.

Never had to use any help. Some of the pages will go to the next page by using the enter key. Other pages change what you have entered when you use the enter key. Lacks consistency! Causes potential mistakes and issues. Please address this issue.

Overall easy to use, but import from my financial institution was messy this year. Also, the w2 import (from ADP) did not work and required manual entry. One error was only caught during electronic transmission and not during the checks/verification process. I don't believe it makes any material difference to the return, but annoying all the same. I have been using TT for almost 20 years, and this was the clumsiest experience thus far

I was on the phone for more than 2 hours and did not get resolution of a problem with the software. Had the most problems with turbo tax this year than with any other year. A software glitch where I could not uncheck a selection box that did not apply never went away or got fixed.

I had been filing with TurboTax Premier since 2007. It worked pretty smoothly, even when I was filling as an expatriate living overseas. However, I think I just came across a bug where I was supposed to enter carryover operating and QBI losses from previous years. Instead of automatically pulling those numbers from my previous year tax return or instructing me where to find the numbers from prior year returns (which was also done by TurboTax), I was left alone looking for the right numbers. I bought Live Tax Advisor, and talked to two different advisors. Neither of them could quite figure out this quirk as to what is the going wrong.

Purchased premier download. unable to due to outdated imac. called cs and lady resolved and issued refund request. updated imdc and purchased download and finished my taxes, very satisfied with response and action taken by lady in customer service
