During the review process, I found the problems not well explained, nor was there a link back to the appropriate place in the guided entry section of Turbo Tax. It would have been helpful. As it was, I clicked on the actual Fed Tax form, and tried to figure it out on my own. In other words, make the review process as simple and straightforward as the Easy Enter.

I've used TTax for a million years and printing individual forms has ALWAYS been an issue. Too many "hoops" to just print a few selected "main forms" without having to navigate thru multi screen-pages -- and Not paper friendly for my printer. Also --- BRING BACK THE CD DISK OPTION FOR PURCHASE. Shows that Intuit is going CHEAP vs taking care of its clients!

One star off for inconsistency question/answer patterns. Some times it gives a list of checkboxes that includes a None of the above option. Other times it provides a list and asks Do any of these apply Yes/No button. And it often fails to store selections for when you return the next time to the same page. One star off for the pathetic Oregon state form help on screen. Fed forms has links to help beside many of the options so you can learn what the label or phrase is talking about. But not so for Oregon forms. Very limited help info for Oregon form options. Otherwise the product easy steps walks you through. I do think there are several places in the Fed forms where it asks you questions before they should have. Then you come to a disqualified question that negated the need for the earlier questions to even be asked. Please organize the questions in the order of importance so downstream questions are skipped if earlier questions indicate no need for the later set of questions. I do like the ease of jumping to the Forms view from EasyStep and vice-versa. For those who don't know, when you get errors during the checking phase, it will give you super vague error messages as to what is missing but no context! But clicking into the Forms view will take you to the referenced form and item number to fix. When you know that, it's convenient. When you don't know that (they don't tell you in EasyStep) it can be frustrating wondering what they are talking about.

your program has become very cumbersome to use. It is no longer a user friendly program because you are asking for different information than the original IRS forms required. An example is your 5329 form Premier has lines 52a&b and 53a&b asking for information that the IRS does not require. Also on your filing for FED Taxes there is no explicit instructions on how to change the Estimated PTPIN If you program this as a check point you need to provide specific instructions on how to do it. Seems like Intuit is allowing programming nerds to require inputs with poor instructions on how to execute. Remember you are selling your product to the public not coding experts.

For the first time, I used the Mac desktop version of TT Premier. It couldn't read my 2023 tax file which I had saved in OneDrive and I had to manually enter data. Ridiculous. When it came to e-filing the Federal return, the transmission kept failing because my product was apparently not fully updated. It was not exactly easy to figure out how to do that. Sheesh. If I had not been using TT for more than 20 years already, I would have just switched to another product. Not a happy camper.

Very good product. Please continue to make improvements. Add copy paste to Support Details on Form 2210 & 2210 AI. My income is variable. I like to develop details to track changes from QTR1,2,3,4. Also develop a support template on the required income for the AGI on each quarter.

Have used Turbo tax for many years (at least 15). This year there were multiple problems filing and paying. Not enough information is given on the pages to guide user. Had to pay $60 for online support to walk through the filing / payment process. Did not receive payment confirmation, was told that I must monitor credit card statements???

I completed and checked the return, arranged tax payments and tried to E file my taxes. Screen said I was "one click away. Nope "request for more information", click, and a blank 1099-MISC appeared requesting EIN #', name, address etc. of payor. I do not know what it is looking for.

For the most part this software is fantastic, it provides assistance and guides you through the process. That said, I ran into a couple of issues this year. 1. It was difficult to delete duplicated 1099 forms and 1099 forms with zero information. 2. It was difficult to enter information for large items purchased during the year. Once I had entered information and tried to go back and update, it was complicated and I had to enter directly into the Forms.
