I have been using TurboTax for more than 20 years. I have always had good experience with it. This year I had an issue with the TurboTax Premier that caused me to file extension because I could not fix the problem. After checking online and reading Help section, I realized that TurboTax Premier is not capable to support the number of equity transactions. I don't know if this will be fixed next year. I don't want to go through this again.

2024 Turbo Tax has sunk to a new low. Their new User Interface has become too simplistic and cartoon like. It has complicated and obfuscated access to the actual tax forms and then consistently tries to sell you their expert support. This year they filled out form 2210 (Underpayment of Estimated Taxes) yet never alerted me or asked for my input. Then trying to find the form and adjust it correctly took too much time. Very frustrated with this product. It keeps getting worse every year. They have finally reached a point where I will be looking at all products next year instead of staying with TurboTax

Importing 1099s from our accounts resulted in duplication of Jointly owned accounts. It was difficult to delete the duplicated files, so I deleted all and started over. I then deleted the joint accounts when importing my files and let them through when importing my spouse's accounts. When I tried to enter information for 2025 estimated taxes, I was confused about the info that was required. It wasn't clear, I had to do it 3 or 4 times before the TurboTax result, agreed with my result. Previous experience with TaxAct wasn't as confusing.

I have been using TurboTax for about 25 years and I would always rate it a 5. This time it worked great and I easily entered everything. E-filing was perfect and the returns were accepted by Federal and State. The problem came when I tried to print my returns. I tried at least 20 time to print them. I took three calls to your helpline to solve the problem. The first call was over an hour and the agent tried everything to no avail. The second agent said she was also getting other calls about printing problems, but something in her system would not let her open my screen. The third agent was a genius, deserves to be commended and did a work around that I could never duplicate. I then printed my returns using her unorthodox method. She said there is some in your application that has problems getting MAC's to print. I recommend you let your software engineers know the problem exists and corrected it before next year's tax season.

I have usedd Turbo Tax for over 15 years. I have found it to be a great aid in preparing both federal and state tax returns. Having the abilty to use both the forms view and the interview is particularily useful. I move between the two views to prepare my returns. I highly reccommend this program.

The product is very good. The only reason for not choosing excellent is because several steps were not intuitive and required exploration to complete and the application did not update quickly. The slow updates led to a great deal of doubt and frustration.

I think the program is very good. It's a little intimidating to get asked questions that don't apply to you and you really have no idea what it is. Help is just ok. I could not find any help on accounting for contributions to my DAF. A feel better doing it myself than going to a tax preparer. I have issues with previous tax preparers.

you need to made a program for people who have been using TURBO TAX for years. you ask so maybe dumb questions over and over and it was a lot of time. if you fill in zip code make it auto fill the town and state. I use TaxSlayer in the AARP TaxAide program and it has a quality review feature where you dnt have to dig for the review.

Been using TurboTax for nearly 20 years with each year the software proves very user friendly. Had some tricky stuff from time to time but the Tools and help always got me through and I felt comfortable that I provided the correct answer for filing.

I used TurboTax many years ago and then used a tax preparer. I decided to use TurboTax to do my 2024 Federal and State Tax returns. IMO, the software application has become less intuitive, more difficult to understand and less helpful in directing users to the correct tax forms and boxes to reference. In particular, the IRA and K-1 sections were EXTREMELY challenging and confusing, as was the VT State area. I was taken by surprise when filing my returns and presented with a $40 charge to process my Federal refund. I had purchased TurboTax PREMIER which includes Investments/Stocks and State return, expecting ease in working the IRA & K-1 information and no charge to file my State return. These expectations were not met.
