I am very disappointed that you killed the ability to Print from Turbo tax itself rather than having to login to Intuit. I spent an hour trying to figure this out! The software still has some glitches; i.e. after entering all my info on 1099 forms, when it came to the final review I had to look up the info again and re-enter some of the boxes. Even the ones that I imported to Turbo Tax.

The section where I had to review my filing information was very difficult to figure out becuase the information that needed to be fixed was shown in very small and pale red coloration, so it did not show up at all!!! It was very frustratiing to be stuck on that page and going back multiple times, only to be routed to the same page again and again!! A page that had no other option (that was easily seen) than to go back. The error message should be much larger and certainly not in a color that was so pale that you can't even read it!!! The error message needs to be READABLE!

I MISTAKENLY ENTERED IRS FORM 3800 AND WAS UNABLE TO REMOVE IT USING THE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS. HAD TO CALL TECH SUPPORT THREE TIMES, FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MANUALLY REMOVE IT BY TOGGLING TO FORMS RATHER THAN USING STEP BY STEP. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A LOT EASIER.

Two problems. You assumed I needed a Form 7205 even though line 27b on my Schedule C was zero. That I eventually fixed manually on the Schedule C worksheet. Then you also required a non-zero entry on my Colorado Form 104 line 5 even though my Schedule C had a zero on line 24b. For this I had to change the line 5 to $1 (which was incorrect) in order to get you to file my state return.

I like Turbotax step through the questions and also the ability to go directly to the do it yourself income and deduction overview. I also really like the ability to go through every tax form and see exactly where the input info gets used by the IRS forms. It really allows detailed checking that the inputs were correctly entered and got used correctly. Also helps planning next years tax payments.

very glitchy this year. had to uninstall and reinstall to start using. as always had to do a work around for a small taxable pension with 1099 taxable amount not entered. has crashed several times while using. had to go back to federal and enter property tax, which said not required, to show up on state.

Have been using TT for ~30 yrs; some weird issues this year - was unable to simply enter property taxes in return without reverting to forms menu as we don't have a mortgage. Language re K-1 entry created confusion - would have appreciated a direct link to subsequent entry. Live CPA advice was well worth the cost to provide confirmation of approach. Differences between state/fed approach for K-1 could be handled more simply. TT website needs work - if I want to log into my account to access the help community, I can't get past an on-line VRU that tries to confirm which product I should get, despite already having the program. Although the program was made available in Fall 2024, it lacked so many components that it wasn't useful for year end planning; most entries could not be input until Jan/Feb 2025. Despite these challenges, I remain a loyal TT user, and hope that next year's program will work more smoothly. Overall, TT makes it easy to complete and file my returns.

4 stars because it was difficult to determine Stock option grant resolutions, I had to do a lot of digging to determine how to handle it and not get double taxed. Also the way Turbo Tax handled Michigan state taxes on retirement withdrawals was not clear if you are not 65, but retired Turbo Tax gave a much larger deduction than it should have.

We can count on TurboTax to help us file our taxes (federal plus 3 states) every year! We appreciate how TurboTax imports info from the prior year's return so we don't have to. We also appreciate how easy it is to use! Will continue to use this software into the years ahead.
