4 stars because it was difficult to determine Stock option grant resolutions, I had to do a lot of digging to determine how to handle it and not get double taxed. Also the way Turbo Tax handled Michigan state taxes on retirement withdrawals was not clear if you are not 65, but retired Turbo Tax gave a much larger deduction than it should have.

We can count on TurboTax to help us file our taxes (federal plus 3 states) every year! We appreciate how TurboTax imports info from the prior year's return so we don't have to. We also appreciate how easy it is to use! Will continue to use this software into the years ahead.

As far as I can tell, TurboTax Premier is very thorough and complete. It has easy to follow instructions. I would like for the "Help" to provide linkages to IRS documents in addition to the help pages that are part of the software. I would also like the search to include search for forms and words in forms, instructions, etc. because search needs to be about more than TurboTax. The help provided through Search is pathetic.

Clear explanations throughout the process. However, at the end I was unable to find how I could save the Tax Return to my hard drive in a PDF file. I ended up printing it, but I would have preferred to save a PDF. Then after several frustrating attempts I was able to find a unique nickname.

Overall, a good experience again. Straightforward questions and answers. I did notice one bug this year, and it's relatively minor. I retired in 2022, and last year I received a W2 from my former employer for some residual income. This year I did not receive a W2 and deleted it from my Worksheet. When I did that, Turbo Tax removed all traces of income related to last year. Much of the information which compares 2024 to 2023 went to zero. While this didn't affect my return, it was mildly annoying.

Federal e-filling was great and worked very well. The state tax e-file would not work at all ! Credit card info would lock up the whole computer. The only way to get out of it was to shut it completely down (off) Then restart! After the third try I only filed the federal, worked great. Way too much time spent for nothing!

I had to import from another computer for my information from the last several years. Your directions were not helpful. This was the most frustrating experience. I ended up having to input all information again by hand. The new format on this year's turbo tax was also a challenge - so many times I had to go back and figure out what to input. I don't understand how it does not import all information from by brokerage statements - I had to correct 33 mistakes on this alone and had difficulty understanding and finding what was needed. Of all the years I have used turbo tax, this was the most frustrating and anxiety provoking year yet.

I have used Turbo tax for many years and it has saved us money over having someone else (probably using turbo tax) doing our taxes. This year, we had more complicated taxes due to retirement, stock sales and investments. It took a little extra time, but Turbo Tax made it easy!!!

Annually, our two daughters and one granddaughter join my sister and use our software to do their taxes. The five of us have a myriad of different situations and TurboTax handles them all! We use all 5 free Fed eFiles and eFile our (same) state with ease. The product is reliable, straightforward, and makes computing taxes due transparent. We have used it for years and continue to be pleased.

Simple to use. Well designed. One thing you all can do to improve. The small notice on the package that says See the Cashier for the product is pretty ineffective. I took the item on the display, went to self-checkout, paid and walked out. After I got home, I discovered I didn't have the real product. Had to go back with my receipt to get the real product. The item on the display looked just like the real product. This was a little frustrating. At least make the display item look like it is very different from what is need...maybe just a simple 4X6 card that only says in big letters that it is not the product, go see the cashier for the real product
