Form 8615 D Worksheet needs to be fixed. Line 47 is picking up line 46, even though line 45 is zero. (Line 47 is supposed to be the smaller of line 45 or 46.) The only way for me to correct this is to override line 45 to show a zero (it was blank) and the override prevents me from e-filing. VERY frustrating!! This appears to be a known issue (known to users anyway) because a search in the TurboTax community shows others having the same problem. And it has been an ongoing issue that is not getting fixed. I now need to amend my prior year return because I found the same problem (the number was much smaller, so it did not get my attention) last year.

We've been using Intuit tax software for at more than 25 years, beginning with MacIntax using a dial-up internet connection. The software has been reasonably easy to use and we've not encountered any errors, except once many years ago when we forgot to revisit our state return after changing the federal return. Other than upselling attempts, TurboTax has been a pleasure to use and we've noticed improvements over the years.

Have used Turbo Tax for over 40 years. The program is easy to use, as it walks you through the (ridiculously complex) tax forms with a straight forward Q&A format. The gauge at the top tells you if you OWE, or if you are getting a refund, as you work through the return. Updates are automatic every time you log into the program too.

The product did the job. However, I purchased the premier product and when filling out the earnings from stock sales, I had to open every single sale and attest to it being correct even though the values were directly imported from my stock company. This was tedious and slow.

Another tax year and another great experience with Turbo Tax. I've been using Turbo Tax for the past 10 years and I still love it. From handling my parent's simple return to my complex return with rental properties and lots of investment transactions Turbo Tax meets the need.

OK, Ive been with U more than 10 yrs! it took 3X to talk to 3 EAs to correct problems in your program! TTax was not able to process my K1: I even called the ph#s for both the Co. & the K! issuer 1 Deadend. The EA di work around it & just left it as is about $5 loss. Next EA misunderstood me about my NEW Home LOAN & listed it as a HELOC which it wasnt & would have cost me about $5000 !!!! in taxes which i didnt make sense since i had paid by ES payments roughly $6000 !!! The 3rd EA found the mistake & i thot i was Done, so i filed 4/15... When i didnt get an accept Email i tried to call U; noone answered & the links while thay did work , all of a sudden i need an update ; The patches were difficult to install!! & wereNot on my Desktop as it said. I went online per instr & after 3Xs it worked & I was transmitted... Finally. I asked for a rfd of the $60 Fee for HELP. but no luck! Yes I want a $60 rfd OR FREE next YR. TKS. only the 3rd agent was able to correct the 2nd Huge mistake per the HELOC.

Premier 2024 is the WORST. I can NOT import my Fidelity 1099 B's into the Premier. Your customer support said to manually type it . What ??? I usually use Deluxe but this time I used the Premier coz it's free for Fidelity clients. The representative said Deluxe is not compatible with d Premier. I told her I can NOT do that coz I'm a trader . I trade everyday so there will be a lot. I called Fidelity n was told that that's what their clients said Premier is not importing 2023. I will STOP using Turbotax from now on. Too bad I use Turbo since 2015. Turbo Premier is d WORST for 2024 tax season. BEWARE customers.

TurboTax has worked well for me for multiple years; however, I required phone support and discovered that the different "import file" procedure with Schwab required invoking my PC default browser, which was the Brave Browser. The import failed with that browser even though all of the steps looked complete from the Schwab end. I did use Microsoft Edge to correct this error, but it points out that some subset of browsers were not checked between the Intuit and Schwab interface.

My friends tell me that both Tax Act and H&R Block tax prep software show the form you are working on beside the question page. It sounds quite helpful and VERY TEMPTING TO SWITCH. It would be much more convenient than switching back and forth. TurboTax seems to have lots of unused white space on all screens, so there should be plenty of room.

I had the TT Premier download for MAC. Some of the dropdown menus were not updated from last year. Also I downloaded two states and they didnt populate with Federal data. I called and was told it was because I wasn't signed into Intuit on-line? Very confusing what that has to do with downloaded software.
