Technical Support was fantastic. Very personable, competent, patient!! Please continue to offer a physical disk version of TurboTax each year to enable loading and viewing/using the software long after Intuit has stopped supporting older versions. It seems that Intuit is making it more difficult each year to obtain a physical disk copy of the Turbo Tax software.

Having used Turbotax for decades, I am convinced of its value and ease of use. However, this year, I have two complaints: 1) Having generated a long and complicated login password (and storing it in my password manager), it was irritating to learn that I could not copy and paste that password into Turbotax; 2) For the first time ever, I found that I could not download my brokerage information directly into the Turbotax software, even when the brokerage firm said it was available. What am I missing!

I love TurboTax and plan to continue to use. The only issue I've had came up this year as I needed to use Form 5329 and it wasn't available on the on-line version. So after all the years using the online version I will have one year not included in my online history. I've been told that I will not be able to upload this years into my online account so that's unfortunate. Hopefully the Form becomes available in future years' online version.

I've used TurboTax for over 10 years. I find the user interface to be very intuitive and thus easy to use. I can't imagine going back and doing my return without software like TurboTax. The only negative is that it costs the filer to use it. It should be free to filers, and Intuit should get paid by the U.S. government, as it is the U.S. Government that is ultimately benefitting from filers using TurboTax and other tax software.

I don't like that it asks you every time you start up TurboTax if you want to use the online version or continue on the desktop. I realize there's a Do not show on this notice, but it's unclear whether that will permanently switch you to the online version, which I don't want, or remember your decision to stay on the desktop version. If it didn't have online as the default and instead, gave you the option of going to the online version, if you want to, then I'd feel more comfortable not showing the notice again.

Don't need the expert advice, because turbo tax is very simple, ease of use, it interfaces with my banks and makes transferring information easier and W2 is a breeze to import the information , Also the features are so simple to use and never for 10 years had any audit issues, accuracy and support is the best, why need experts...

Turbo Tax "locked into" the Standard Deduction for me when the itemized deduction choice was clearly the better choice. I was not able to find a way to get to the screen where I could simply pick the one I wanted. To make the override happen I needed to delete all of my data entry in the Credit and Deduction section and start over. It took a while to come to that conclusion, bit it worked. The key, I think, is to not toggle back and forth to understand what is happening with the program - just make the choice and let it be.

2025 was, to say the least, a very agrivating experience. And I don't think Im alone in saying that. Firstly, I could not download TurboTax 2025. I had to request Support to download 2025. When I tried to pay the first time, it would not take the Expiration Date of my Credit Card. I actually had to uninstall Turbo, then get a Support Person to download Turbo 2025. There were other items which were extremely aggrivating with 2025.

It gets the job done but is often difficult to manage when issues crop up. For example, it wanted me to review something but would not take me to what needed reviewed until I finished and came to the looking for errors portion. I just kept getting a message that something needed reviewed.

Great for federal and state but oh my. If there is a city involved and you commute in and out of the city Turbo Tax prevents efiling of federal and state. This sucks as Turbo Tax won't take the correct numbers as it thinks something different than my reality.
