The new version of importing from financial instituitions was terrible this year. You cant pick and choose accounts. The accounts arent specifically identified. You basically have to import all accounts at once vs one at a time. Lots of on line complaints about this process this year. Why would you have changed this?

I mentioned this already in another review, but I don't think that I like that the Search button now starts the "AI Chat Box Assistant". I want the choice between a true Search field and an AI chat box. The old Search field brought up instantly any forms, worksheets, instructions to which I needed to refer. The AI chat box takes too long to load and seems to bring back to broad a series of topics. I prefer the straight up, type the form number and the search box takes me straight to the link. I like the AI chat box option, but it needs to be called that nominally, not the new "Search" button. Go back to what the Search button use to do, but add a separate AI Assistant button.

The good: The download process is very cumbersome still, but getting slightly better. Intuit finally figured out how to eFile IL state when return has high impact zone using form IL 1299C and Schedule M. Thank you for this after many many years of having to mail my form in and call support to get a refund for my state filing fee cause it was ineligible for efile after they collected my cc info. This took usually at least 30 minutes of my time to get to the right person, then waited a week for my actual credit. The bad: TurboTax still does not transfer relevant info from one from previous year, or from one form to another, so you need to re-enter it multiple times (bank info, DL number, property tax PIN ID,, etc. If it was on last years return and you answer "NO" when asked if you moved, as an example, they should carry that info forward and ask a confirmation instead of making you reenter it from scratch. They also do not fill out all the line items on key information worksheets so you now understand how they came up with calculation. Some of their explanations when you click on the i icon to learn more provide no additional useful information. The ugly: Still too much scrolling and mouse movement needed when navigating from top to bottom or to next screen. Also the AI interface, even in this survey keeps changing the words that I type as it is trying to predict what I want to say (and it is not spell check either).

You need to work on the capital gains input forms, Terrible system. you continue to change it each year for the worst!!! Have someone enter 30 different items especially for bonds. There is no sorting capability and Cut and paste ability which you have had in previous iterations. I had to go through each one several bonds for 12 months each to enter cost and purchase dates. very annoying. In addition downloading information from brokerages is cumbersome, again you've made it more difficult.

This year completing the return was time consuming! Instructions in TurboTax are becoming more cryptic and not easy to follow! You have SO MUCH white space in the Forms! Why not use it?!! I wish I could give it 5-stars, because I really like the software. Please see below.

I have been using TurboTax for 3 years and it takes the stress out of gathering all the necessary documents and taking it to a tax expect. No longer do I have to worry about forgetting to bring documents or having to reschedule appointments. I can file from home at my convenience.

I have used Turbo Tax for years. There is a glitch in the software for 2025 in the handling of the K-3 reporting. Where interest is allocated and reported as US the system should subtract US from the total and show the difference. In my case, zero foreign interest. The system does not do this calculation and there seeks foreign income to offset US expense and creates an error message through out. Otherwise a great product.

This year was a fiasco. My return was rejescted twice because my last years info imported incorrectly. I was charged an additional $25 for a refile of my state return. I had to go to the IRS to find my tax form from last year to have accurate information. My old computer and file was unavailable. I also had emails hounding me to do mine online versus desktop. Online is where the corrupt file came from and tech support was only able to send me to the IRS. I deserve a $25 Refund of my extra costs.

This is my third year using Turbo Tax, each year becomes easier and faster to complete my return. The software is great and covers EVERYTHING in a very easy to navigate and understand manner. But, what makes me so comfortable using Turbo Tax is if I have any questions their customer support is second to none! Every representative I've spoken with has been VERY knowledgeable, friendly and extremely patient with me. I feel confident my returns (Fed & State) are done accurately while getting me the best refund possible. Using Turbo Tax is a great experience, wouldn't have thought I would ever use those words regarding doing my taxes!! Thanks Turbo Tax for making a great product and hiring such friendly patient representatives and training them so well!!

This first-time user of TurboTax was very satisfied with the experience. I had previously use an enrolled agent for tax filing, but this manner of filing seemed just as thorough and well-organized. I used the MacOS version with no interface problems.
